You can forget about Chip. He should take the Eagles deep into the playoffs, as in late Jan, and there is no way the gators can wait that long to make a hire. Too, there was a lot of smoke in Duck country that the administrators were tired of him, he of them. He was known to not be a fan of all the administrative work required of him as a HC & he had issues with relationships, or lack of same, with many of the Duck's big boosters. Gator fans: does Foley use a search committee or does he do his own leg work? What kind of buyout is Roper looking at getting?

he took the UofF and their boosters for 10,000,000+ and turned your program into a dumpster fire. He deserves all the bashing that will come his way.

This. I think Muschamp is a great guy but he deserves the bashing he is getting. It's like when Nutt "resigned" with 4 games left in the season with us. We all hated that bastard and continue to bash him to this day. He got his nice contract extension after the second Cotton Bowl and fricking air mailed the next two seasons so he could sit on his arse and get paid.

I think Muschamo could be good in the future. It was only the offense that was bad. Problem they faced was changing O identities every year which is his fault as HC.
He'll learn though and imagine get an opportunity in 2-3,years at a school like MS St

Muschamp did not, "sit on his arse for two years so he could get paid." He'd get paid the same amount regardless. Working hard gets him more pay down the road, not to mention the fact that these guys are all ultra-competitive, whether it shows or not and they all have big egos.

SO many of us Hog fans tried to warn our Ole Miss Brethern. But no.. we were "spurned and pathetic" ROTFL. We knew his motif and ability, both are lacking as is his character in several areas. Now, Cadillac Man 2... made for that movie!

What does everyone think about Paul Johnson going to Florida?
His offense has been extremely effective at Georgia Tech with 2 and 3 star athletes.
Similar to Malzahn's offense, but more efficient. Florida talent with Johnson's system and the right defensive coordinator could be a winning combination.
