TV ratings and bank accounts are both heavily in the Aggies favor. Auburn is out of their element. They just snack on the leftover crumbs off of Bama's plate.

Aggie has only been about the 5th most successful college football team in the state of Texas during the 21st century

True, but we have the third highest paid staff, as far as assistants, in the nation.

Auburn was #3, A&M was #12.

If you're going to talk shite at least use shite that is true.

Third or fourth is more fair. Texas Tech maybe beat us a lot in the Big 12, but our accomplishments since 2000 beat theirs.

I thought Aggie was getting Bud Foster anyway. Why are so many of your posters worried about this thread? The Auburn rivals site apparently put up a Muschamp to Auburn story a few minutes ago and then took it back down

A good program in Houston might kinda suck for us. Why did Bama kill UAB?

Not surprised. I've been saying all along that (a) he is still hirable as a head coach and (b) if he wants to get back to being a premier HC at a big school, better to get a HC job and be successful than be anyone's DC.

I don't understand that logic, at all. If he takes a mid-level HC right now, and fails, he will never get a chance at a HC gig again. If he takes a high profile DC job, and succeeds, he can get an upper echelon Big 5 power school HC job in three or four years.

I don't see that as a possibility. Everyone knows he can coach defense, but those same people also saw him fail as a head coach. He needs to prove that he has learned from his mistakes before any high level job comes calling.
