While at Ole Miss, Tuberville made the statement, "They’ll have to carry me out of here in a pine box,"

Wasn't it like a week later taht he left.

Nick Saban: I will not be the head coach at Alabama.

FWIW, I hope Mullen stays.

your AD annoyed the shite out of Tubbs. Mullen has total and full control over everything at MSU.

I was really young then, but I think he left like three days later.

Tubbs would have probably stayed if not for Boone.

I didn' know every coach in America is as scummy as Saban. I guess you learn new things everyday.

I would do that if I was Mullen. MSU can pay him what he is worth and if he stays he can build a legacy as the MSU coach. Why go somewhere that another coach built? The only reason the big schools are like they are is because someone made the decision to stay and build something special.

MSU has what it takes to be built into a bigtime program if someone will dedicate themselves to getting it done.

No they don't.

It would literally take a top 10 coach deciding to pass up better jobs for 8 or 9 years.

What do you think it takes to become an elite program?

Elite, no. But Dan could build State to where it had winning seasons every year and could compete for Atlanta with a strong senior class or so.
