I truly wish Leach would say "frick you" to the State AD and leave. You frickers don't deserve him.

The reason why these SJW and libtards even have a say (regardless of how distorted their views are) is because people pander to them.

frick Mississippi State and frick the ignorant assholes who got Leach into hot water.

Can’t wait for LSU and Eddie O to curb stomp that pathetic school again. Hopefully Leach tells them to pound sand and heads off to a university that isn’t fricking retarded

Obviously I don't know Mike Leach personally but I have observed white folks in Washington, Oregon and Idaho and it is whitey heaven....nothing but white folks outside of Seattle and Portland and they are predominantly white. They are far worse than people in the south...and the liberals are among the most racist people I ever met. They are woke....but their racism is that of low or no expectations.....at least a southern racist expects minorities to make the effort to survive and will begrudgingly admit that "he's a good one" when a black person does manage to do more than survive....here in the PNW they would be put off by that person's doing more than survival because it is "the exception that proves the rule"...very hateful although they see it in the same manner a parent who points out their child's every fault at every opportunity see it as helping....just misguided damaging attitude toward people they know nothing at all about because they never ever interact one on one with a black person in any way.

leach is a product of that environment for the last couple of years at least. He is probably as ill equipped to deal with Mississippi race issues as an adult in the United States could be because of the isolation white folks suffer here in the PNW....there is nothing culturally attractive about the region for this reason. There is no local cuisine, no local music, nothing at all culturally remarkable about the area because it is all middle class white folks and they have no ethnic identity at all because they are just white.....its really weird being accustomed to the rich culture of the south....and Mike Leach is TYPICAL of the people in this area....the only attraction is their own sense of self worth and sense of privilege....these are the white people that the rest of the nation accuses white southerners of being!

I think this is probably overkill but the guy should not have posted a noose as the coach of a bunch of young black men in rural Mississippi, even if he didn't mean anything bad, which I doubt he did. He didn't tweet anything racist but have some awareness of your surroundings.

It’s overkill, but that’s the point. MSU is not saying the tweet was racist, but they are taking a hard stance on their expectations of people in Leach’s position, which is crucial not only due to the cultural background of the athletic talent pool in the state, but also the student population of the university itself. Mississippi State is not exactly a college full of white people, nor does it strive to be that. It can not be run like Washington State because, despite the similarities, the culture of the student population is significantly different.

People saying that Leach should have doubled down very clearly wouldn’t last a day in any SEC AD.

Then there is no issue. It can not be both raining at Point A and NOT raining at Point A at the same time.

If his tweet was not racist, ALL STOP. end of it. Everything else is pure BS for the sake of MISPLACED EMOTIONS.

Has nothing to do with surroundings.

Either it is or it isn't racist. IF not, then people need to stand up and voice that and end the maddness

OH!!! you are such a friggin idiot. You had 1 guy who claimed racism who was transferring anyway (read the tweets by former players and current players) so he does not have to sit a season out and you think it's an issue.

You exchanged rational thought and truth because of fear. In the process you SET A NEW NORM.

Congrats???

My God, he's not going to coach a year there, I imagine.

This is turning into a disaster.

Lol you wish
Hell, I looked forward to seeing his brand of offense in the conference. It would be fun.

But this- he hasn't even gotten the chance to get started with actual football, and he's already getting ordered to go to "sensitivity" stuff. And let's be real- that stuff isn't going to happen during the outbreak, so we're talking "when life gets back to normal"... when football is theoretically in full swing.

You think Leach is really that invested in MSU to put up with that? I could see him saying "frick it, we're done".

This whole thing is a load of shite. It wasn’t racist and anyone who thinks that is stupid. This is the result of quarantined house wives with nothing better to do then overreact to nothing.

These are Ms St fans caught in hope that he remains and they are scared that a NON RACIST tweet will not hurt their recruiting... so they are trying to balance it.

The actual truth is if they would have simply stood UP to their BULLY (and yes, that is what is happening here) instead of handing over their lunch money everything would have been ok.

Now, they will have to bend the knee every time this non issue is raised.

BUT they will do it without Leach and some big money people who are livid over the AD.

If you, as a fan of Leach, have not paid attention to him, you have no clue what you just did. Leach don't give a damn about your feels. He is smart and isn't just going to walk out of millions, but he is gone as soon as he can.

The back to the Croom years!

But you fans are allowing it to happen because of a few vocal people.

Find your voice, get on the phone. Stand up to the ignorance.

With that said, I hope Leach sticks to his guns and refuses to comply with this "cultural immersion" bull shite. Simply because a noose is mentioned or pictured doesn't mean black lives are in danger. This wild political correctness has gone too far

Yea this is the stupidest shite I’ve ever seen. Wish Leach would grow balls and tell the AD to go frick himself with that. I could see if he posted a pic with something about guns or HIV, that’s something the black community should be more concerned about that nooses.

State finally got a coach that will cause pain in whole conference and they are attempting to screw it up.

What is wrong with you people?
