You can play around with who you think will win the remaining SEC games and see what the final standings will be.

mred's 2024 SEC FB Standings Tiebreaker Tool

UPDATE: Looks like Texas/Texas A&M winner versus Georgia.

You can use a tool for other Power conferences too.

Been watching it for a while. It was interesting to see prior to their loss to Florida the only things (other than winning out of course) for LSU to make the SECCG was Georgia beat the stinking Vols and Arkansas beat Missouri. Both of which were likely

I inherited my dad's Commodore 64 at 3, and by 6 years old I was programming animated stick figures. I think those things are plenty powerful to host a CCG/playoff calculator. Hell, the Apollo 11 astronauts would have killed to have something like that onboard.

call me crazy but I don't wnat to make the SECCG. We're banged up to hell as it is and 10-2 pretty easily gets us in the playoffs IMO.

100%, not sure why people don’t understand that. I wanted to avoid it before the OM loss. A bye is a bye whether that be the SEC championship game or the first round of the playoffs.

You take that game on and rest after the SECCG win and the bye week.

or lose the SECCG and miss the playoffs entirely. You're getting a week of rest anyway by missing the game, you're just getting the rest week earlier. I posted this elsewhere but to win the natty we'd have to play 3 really good, top ~5ish ranked teams to end the season in the quarters/semis/title. That much is assured and unchanged. So before we get to that point, we can either play:

-An outstanding top 5 SEC team (that we've already played) in a neutral site, or
-Someone like byu or boise in Athens

Given those 2 options it really is a no-brainer.
