Joe Burrow

Even with all the accolades he's still not valued enough. All SEC fans should bow their heads and take a moment of silence every time they speak his name.

Gillislee's senior year campaign doesn't get enough attention, IMO.

Sanders surprised me in 2012.
He wasn't good in 2011. He was picked on regularly. Most players "get it" in their third season. The light came on for Sanders in his 4th. He had a great season.

Brian Herrian. Waited patiently behind Chubb, Michel, and Swift and always came through when he was in the games.

Brennan Southerland.

UGA fullback that led the team in scoring in 2006.
Despite injuries in his senior season that limited touches to only 4 games, Southerland finished his career with 459 total yards and 22 TDs.
He was also Moreno's lead blocker as he ran for over 1330 yards in 2007 (a season high for a running back over the previous 15 seasons).

Melvin Ingram for SC

I’m not sure how he was undervalued... he was All-American and a 1st round pick?

When I hear the question posed by the OP I think of someone like Cory Boyd.

Or hell even someone more recognizable like a Connor Shaw - who is beloved and not undervalued by SC fans but never quite got the accolades or praise on a larger scale because of who is contemporaries were in conference.

Great pick. Always dependable.

But, another from the 2011 season who doesn't get a ton of credit was Nick Gentry.

Kind of got lost in the shuffle in Saban's first class. But, he had some big plays in 2011 coming in to spell Chapman on passing downs. Finished as top DL in sacks and QB hurries, tied with Chapman in tackles, and just behind Square in TFL. Although undersized by a Saban DL standard, he added a big third down pass rush threat and disruptive force from up the middlle, allowing more opportunity for Upshaw and Hightower.

Again, his #s don't jump off the page. But, he was a huge addition to the chemistry of that D and options it presented. For that, he is "most undervalued" IMO.

Saban had once commented on his impact and intelligence for the game saying he was good coach material. Seems to have been right. Nick followed Sunseri to UTk as a grad assistant before getting to Jax St and coaching OLBs with a NCG appearance. Now, he is coaching OLBs at UAB and doing pretty well (in two years the Blazer D has had 92 total sacks and 217 TFL; ranking top 10 in total D each year). Not a bad start, maybe he'll be back in Crimson on the sidelines one day.

Defensive Tackles Ziggy Hood and Jaron Baston on our 2007-08 teams

Good run stuffers and an interior pass rush threat

I don't think I disagree with any of that, but unfortunately, that timeline didn't occur in our universe. All that matters is someone pushed Nutt out at some point, and I think the drama that unfolded around Mustain was a key component in that.

I'd have really liked to see how Mustain developed under Malzahn or Petrino.

Tony Taylor for UGA if he falls within 20 years. He had twice the numbers Te’o had during his Heisman run.

Charles Scott and Stevan Ridley

Those guys were great RBs for us

Career Stats at LSU
Charles Scott:
424 Carries
2317 Yards
32 TDs
5.5 YPC

Stevan Ridley:
306 Carries
1419 Yards
19 TDs

Without those two guys, we have no offense for those 3-4 years.
