Who yall got?
I'm going Brandon James.
We had a complete team during his time here, but he just made everything easier. Guy rarely made a mistake on returns, he was dynamic, and he made sure we won the field position battle almost every game we played.

Maybe Tre White for the level of player he was I think he should be more celebrated

Play or player? Player for State would have to be Darius Slay. Jonathan Banks won the Thorpe trophy in 2012 and wasn’t even the best DB on the team. Slay was so good and damn near nobody talked about him outside of the MSU fan base.

Alvin Kamara /thread
Oh, if it’s PLAY* ... probably when Barnett sacked UFs QB (3rd quarter 2017?) and completely changed the dynamic of the game.

Saadhiq Charles or Lloyd Cushenberry.

How bad of a coach do you have to be to have Alvin Kamara on the roster and barely even use him. That idiot should be tarred and feathered.

Sam Olajubutu. He only had two SEC offers Arkansas and Mississippi State. He was 5-8 and 227 pounds. He was first in the state of Georgia in wrestling at 215 pounds. He was 3rd overall in the state.
He was selected first team all SEC in both junior and senior years. He had a total of 372 tackles with a game high of 18 against Auburn.
It further proves that being undersized doesn't mean you can't play football.

The Trumpet player Botch Jones...Enough said.
The same Botch Jones that Bama has now....Notice they haven't won a NC since he's been there...Got destroyed by Clemson in the one they played for...Didn't win the SECE last year or get to the playoffs....Had more injuries than they ever do...but they blame that on the S&C coach. They have yet to figure it out.

Who yall got?
David Andrews (3 year starter @ center who left in '14)
Went from having one of the best OL's in CFB to one of the worst in '15 without em and he was the only OL lost.
Unbelievable that he didn't get drafted and signed as FA with the Patriots and started for em in '15

Brandon Chicken, the real bagman.

Avery Williamson. Never got the hype of any of the edge rushing linebackers like Josh Allen, Bud Dupree and Danny Trevethan. He also followed Wesley Woodyard who was incredibly popular. Williamson was 7th in the country in tackles his JR year and second team All SEC his senior year. He's been a solid NFL starter though.

Brandon Siler from the 06 team
Didn't get the attention like Spikes did. Wasn't a first rounder like Jarrad Davis. But the guy was very productive and also a great leader on D.

Honestly, probably Mitch Mustain, when you consider he was basically the catalyst in exposing how unfit Houston Nutt had truly become. Without all the drama involving him and Gus Malzahn, Nutt doesn't get chased off and we don't hire Petrino to restore us to a brief relevancy.

One of the best players on the team. Team captain this year.

Springdale native Butch Davis was the big name at that time.
If he was hired when Nutt should have fired after the 05 season, Arkansas wins an SEC title in 06. Malzahn would get full control of the offense. Mustain continues to develop during the season and he doesn't transfer and so does Damien Williams. Casey Dick transfers.
The next year in 07, they don't win less than 10 games and probably miss out on an repeat of an SEC title. Still better than Nutt would have done.
