In the last decade or so, I'd say Skyler Green is up there for LSU.

Ex-Arkansas quarterback?
yeah he was a legit baller. particularly they underrated his speed while in college. Arky was saying he was like a 4.6 guy, then he gets to the combine and ran like a 4.2 or some craziness. he always balled out against alabama. the dude ran circles around roman harper.
And, i've always felt that Nutt/Arky was looking to reproduce the Matt Jones effect when he starting putting McFadden at QB, which i feel like lead to the entire Wildcat fad that swept through all of football. Matt Jones was the original wildcat

He might've made one hell of an NFL wide receiver if he could've stayed away from the drugs. His athleticism was top notch.

That guy was a pure athletic freak. He played basketball at Arkansas, too. Too bad he liked his drugs a little too much.

Jonathan Krause has been one of my favorite Vandy players the last 3 years. The first time he really earned my respect was in the 2011 UF game when he went back to return punts as fearless as ever (and he was fearless his whole career) after taking this cheap shot against Arkansas.
As a receiver, he was buried behind Jordan Matthews and Chris Boyd. The 3 of them came in for the same class, but Boyd was redshirted. Krause then had a better year than Matthews. After being stuck as the 3rd WR for his SO and JR years, Boyd's dismissal thrust him into 2nd on the depth chart. In that role, he basically matched Boyd's numbers from the year before when Boyd and Matthews were being talked about as one of the best WR duos in the SEC.
Matthews made highlights with 4th down catches to win games, but Krause made a huge impact in the UT game on the last drive. On 3rd and 6 from our 12, he caught a pass for 18 yards. Two plays later on 2nd and 15, he snagged one for 17. This was pretty typical for Krause because later Jordan Matthews would make the 25 yard catch to UT's 8 over Cam Sutton to go into the highlight reels.
To those who read this, thanks for reading my minirant about one of my favorite Commodores who got overshadowed.

ETA #2: Oh, and go watch a Jordan Matthews highlight reel. Count the times Krause throws a great block on a screen pass. Some of you might have to take your shoes and socks off

Derrick Thomas. I know he's one of the greats but he's still underrated as all hell IMO.

The fact that you started a legit good thread about a legit topic yet you received 4-3 up/down vote is with out question a look into what tRant has become.
It is ridiculous that a fun topic gets basically 50/50 votes for good or bad.
I think you made a good selection for Auburn. I'm interested in seeing the other schools chime in. Coleman was fun to watch!
For me it's Hester. I loved watching him play. Percy was great but I don't see him as underrated.

Archie Manning. Had he played at Alabama, he'd have multiple national championships and a couple Heismans.
People outside Ole Miss will think I'm nuts, but the older generation will tell you he had no equal.
