Let's try to add something productive to this thread. I realize that is tough for you.

Andre Woodson was underrated I think. Monster Jr and Sr year campaigns for the Wildcats

Crazy that he held the record for a bit of most attempts without an interception and had it broken by that season's INT leader (I believe a kid at MTSU?).

Woodson's WR Steve Johnson was pretty underrated too.

Randall Cobb didn't get near as much love as he should have.

Bill Flowers. He didn't put up gaudy numbers, but he was clutch on third down.

Casey Clausen

I almost said Casey - he was tough as nails and won a lot of games - probably the best of the brothers - seemed to be resented by a lot as a California surfer dude, but I never get into that kinda crap

Don Hutson. Most of the Bama fanbase, much less the rest of the SEC could tell you who that is without looking him up.

Held a whole lot of NFL records till some guy named Jerry Rice broke them. Still holds a few.

I'm going with Felix Jones, not really underrated but definitely overshadowed by McFadden. If not for sharing carries with one of the best backs in SEC history he may have cemented that title for himself.

I dunno about in the history of the SEC but no one has mentioned Tim Couch yet and he was pretty amazing on otherwise terrible teams.

Honorable mention for Musa Smith. Before Gurley got to UGA, he was the last really good running back that they had. And no, Moreno didn't count.

Why doesn’t Moreno count? He was one of the best RB's in the SEC his 2 years at UGA.

Also, Thomas Brown, Danny Ware and Kregg Lumpkin were a formidable backfield, rushing for over 2k yards in ’05 (2nd in SEC). They weren’t household names, but all 3 made it to the league and 2 won Super Bowl rings.

Hard to put Couch on this list. He was only the #1 overall pick when he was drafted. He could be a candidate for an overrated list but I think he was very appreciated during his time.
