Jorrie Adams - the crown jewel of Franchione's 2003 class.
He ended up going from 5-star OL to backup DL to arrested for selling drugs.

I know this is gonna sound odd, but Raven Gray. I played with the guy in high school, and he had insane talent. Definitely could of been the next Quentin Groves at Auburn. Went to JUCO to get his grades up, then got injured then got dropped for his grades dropping again. Guy had huge potential, could of played on Sunday's if he would of applied himself. Dang shame he let himself fall the way he did.

Robert Lane, highly recruited, played a helluva game at qb in the egg bowl to end the season, orgeron takes over at ole miss and lane isn't given very many chances after that. Wasted the rest of his career playing TE and FB, positions that were never utilized in his awful offense.
And about Dexter not getting many chances in 08, Dexter was having a bad fumbling problem through the first half of the season, he kinda lost the vandy game by himself, I think he fumbled twice inside the red zone, once he was going in for the td and fumbled on the 1 or 2 yard line. He was a beast in 09 however, much improved carrying the ball, and should've been getting more carries. Nutt didn't figure out we had no run game without him until the second half of the season.

easily Reggie McNeal
had he played in a spread offense, he would have set all sorts of ridiculous records.
people forget in 2002 that he was a true freshman when he cut OU up and aTm upset #1 OU 30-26. the offensive coordinator was....drum roll....KEVIN SUMLIN.
Sumlin KNEW what he had in McNeal. Too bad McNeal went down with an ankle injury and missed most of that season, and then RC got ousted (which is when Stoops brought Sumlin to OU) and Fran brought in his horrific option offense. Fran destroyed both Reggie and Stephen McGee with his shitbag offense.

McNeal went down with an ankle injury the very next game (11th game of the year), and Dustin Long, who still holds the A&M record for most TD passes in a game (7) came back in.
Slocum got fired because he blew multiple double digit 2nd half leads that year (sound familiar?)

Lots of people don't know this but this game and his misuse of Alexander pretty much ran Stallings off. Alexander was a horrible practice player and Gene, who was in a pinch because nobody else was any good still said if you don't practice, you don't play.
There's alot of horseshite on this site, but this is one of the biggest piles I've seen in a long, long time.

Well, because of an injury rather than game planning, but I'd have to say Tyrone Prothro
He was the only person who had a snowball's chance of beating Reggie for the Heisman that year, with that catch being replayed over and over again.
In just half a season he had a full-season's worth of highlight-reel material.

From what I understand though I dont think it had anything to do with the coaching staff, I think it was just because he was a dumb lazy frick.

Probably one of the four just kicked off the team.
