At this point I am not sure K-State gets by an Army team in full blown emergency meltdown rebuild mode.

OM, KSU and USCw will not be on that list by November. AUBURN will be fighting for a winning record. This looks like it could be Alabama's year with the experience that they return. ND will also be a force with who they return.

Fixed it for you.

Unless Avery Johnson makes some massive, future #1 draft pick leap, K State ain't winning the Big 12. Or really in contention unless they cannibalize to an 8-4 or 9-3 CCG participant.

Utah, Baylor or ASU would be the best bets IMO. Maybe Iowa State.

Tennessee can lose two games and still make it again. Looking at our schedule, that's very doable. We get UGA and Oklahoma in Neyland this year. Bama and UF on the road.

No way yall beat OU or UGA this year

lol. It’s the most Danny Kanell playoff prediction ever. Not the most realistic.

Agree with you, Memphis Rebel, about Auburn. It seems they are the only team in the SEC (or the country) that is so desperate to avoid another losing season that they manufacture natty after natty. Also: I keep seeing posters saying that OM lost a ton. Actually, Kiffin has proven he is great at handling the portal, and many of this year's NFL stars were one-year portal additions fine-tuned by Pete Golding. Look for more of the same this year. He's found a home at OM and is the highest-paid assistant in the SEC. Worth every penny.

Although a few pundits like McElroy have mentioned Austin Simmons, he is being overlooked as a redshirt soph QB who has been around for two years learning the system. He is not a newbie. He already has his degree and will fit well into Kiffin's system. For all these reasons, I think OM will be the surprise of the league this year.

I looked it up: the three winningest programs in the SEC since 2020 are in order: UGA, 'Bama and OM. I think anyone expecting any of those to have a big dropoff this year will be disappointed.

Remember the committee has a BCS style computer ranking only they can see and use these days. But they get the final decision, behind closed doors of course. Thats what college football hated about the BCS. It was much too open and they couldn't dick with the results.

I also doubt Ole Miss could make it in over LSU. They lose a tooooon of talent.

We're a better team this year

I think Tex Tech wins the Big 12 with those hired guns on defense.

Couldn't even make it to the official start of week 1 to bust his bracket.
