As we both have said... Dabo was in over his head when he was promoted.
After 5 years, he could have been called a failure by a lot of school's standards. But by year 7, he was considered elite. And a few years after that, he was in that runner up spot as a HC just behind Saban. With a great DC and great QB friendly system, Dabo is proof that patience as a program can be rewarded. Kirby says that consistency is the biggest key to long term sustained success. They aren't wrong.

Dabo is lucky he didn't get fired after the 2010 season. But he's also had the advantage of playing in the ACC.

This is how people have been spelling his name since 2009.
People still can't spell Mallett right, either.

What’s even funnier about this gif is that Walker Howard is at Ole Miss now

Jimbo Fisher, he's getting Kirby and Saban type paychecks with Ron Zook type of results in the SEC.

The problem is that currently 1 team has had that.

And more teams will develop that.

The playbook to stop him is out, and teams will follow suit.

bad you fire a NC winning coach. I think LSU has done that TWICE!

That’s right. LSU wins national titles, and if the coach starts regressing then they get the boot.

Too bad Tennessee can’t do the same.

Doesn't even have to make it to Atlanta, and is still in the upper echelon of pay.
Pretty funny you say that considering Heupel got a 4 million dollar raise to 9 million after a season in which he didn’t make it to Atlanta.

If Saban retired in January I’d much rather go after Lane

That would be awesome!

It’s what happens when you are in the same division of the best team in CFB.

You saying an 11-2 season with some streak busters against major rivals, a LSU drubbing, and orange bowl win against the best team in the ACC isn’t worth a raise? In todays coaching environment? Lol.
