He has won 10 games twice at Kentucky. Considering what he inherited and the program’s history, it’s extremely impressive. He deserves all the hype he gets

Stoops is a high floor medium ceiling type guy. His teams are rarely fundamentally embarrassing and he's broken the Florida curse for them. I personally don't like him because of off the field stuff I've heard about, but for what Kentucky football is, he's about perfect for them.

No shot. Stoops has Kentucky more consistently formidable than I can remember them ever being since I've been alive.

He's not gonna win the SEC anytime soon but he's done a fine job at Kentucky, IMO. James Franklin at Vandy type stuff.

He'd be another Dan Mullen if he didn't have a decent social media presence.

Didn’t Mullen start mailing it in on the recruiting trail? That’s not really Kiffin’s style

Go watch that season again. We had a bunch of true freshmen playing and replacing first round draft picks. We also lost our all-SEC QB with 4 games left in the season and our backup was a true freshmen. He took that true freshman QB on the road and beat #9 A&M in College Station. Yeah we ended up pissing the games away but we should have beaten FSU and were on the verge of beating Alabama for the third time in a row.

Freeze didn’t ruin us. Bjork and the prudes in Oxford did when they decided to fire him instead of just suspending him for a season. We would be far better off

And I would add we lost our all-American corner at the beginning of the season too, 1st Q against FSU. Our defense would have looked a lot different w/ him out there.

Mullen's ego has always prevented him from being a great recruiter. He thinks kids should recruit him.

Well he's already basically calling his own players mercenaries that don't want to be there.

Both were assistants to good teams, which makes them “gurus or whisperers”, according to retards. Still can’t believe the hype Mullen ever achieved

These responses are kinda funny. "Over-rated" meaning people here say they're good but in reality they're not. Maybe one has been listed...

The only thing Mullen was whispering to Tebow was whether to run left, right, or up the middle.

I don’t think he’s that smart to be credited with that.

I think it’s Kiffin.

He’s won 10 games at a p5 school twice in 8 tries and finished ranked 3 times in his entire coaching career.

Kiffin certainly challenges that

Ehh he is at ole miss and did have a 10 win season.

Jimbo is at a school with top 10 recruiting classes and top facilities and hasn’t won 10 yet
