A lot of people hate him because he’s a huge dick and want to project that to him as a player.
I’m defending him because he was a pretty good player and saying “he wasn’t that good” means you’re equating him to QBs like the ones that play for Florida and LSU every year.

On Fournette: I dont get the fascination with this subject. Maybe I wasnt on TR when this all started. But it is a stupid conversation that keeps being brought up by the least knowledgeable posters.
I saw the guy play in person 4 times, and many more on TV. He is a fantastic talent. When he put his foot in the ground to turn upfield...bad stuff happened to defenses. He played behind a bad line and under a bad offensive staff. But you could still see his talent, if you know wtf you're looking at. A guy that big and strong shouldn't be able to be that fast. He's freaking good, and always has been. Let it go.
He had the Heisman wrapped up before Alabama exposed LSUs crappy offensive strategy. You guys that keep repeating this myth look stupid.

How’s he overrated when plenty of people like you think he was overrated? It’s not just on here, whenever him or Evens are brought up people always talk about how Evans “made him and Manziel was overrated”.

I'm not an A&M fan. Because I don't think he was overrated means he is my guy? No, the faulty logic started with you saying "Never won anything of significance". That clearly showed you were very ignorant on this subject. Manziel fluked his way to all those yards and the Heisman.

The definition of overrated is someone or something that is given too much credit or hype. So how is he overrated if most people are not giving him too much credit or hype?
And he’s definitely not as overrated as Jabrill Peppers and Robert Nkemdiche who did pretty much nothing their whole careers.
