Auburn 2010. Take Cam off that team and they are barely bowl eligible. Cam was awesome, no doubt, but he was the whole offense.
Considering another thread has AU fans stating that 2010's defense was top tier as well, that doesn't quite mesh into the "barely bowl eligible" category.

The SEC as a whole was really overrated that year. Teams like South Carolina, Auburn and LSU were ranked waaaaaay too high preseason and State and A&M benefitted greatly catching them early in the year and vaulting way too high up the rankings themselves.
Yea, it was not a great league that year.

Georgia's 2005 SEC title was kind of surprising. At least to me it was
They sort of lucked out in getting LSU as an opponent. LSU had played 12 straight games without a bye . Tigers were out of gas by that game and had been dealing with all of the Katrina crap earlier in the season......that does not take away from GA but I think if it was a typical season, the game is a lot closer.

LSU threw a pass into the end zone on the last play of the game. Had the ball inside Tennessee's 50. A loss is a loss, but "lost pretty bad to UT" is just stupid.

I was in the dome that night and said Saban is the best coach in football.
Yeah sure you did.

Not football but I'll nominate last year's Tennessee basketball team, they literally came out of nowhere and aren't exactly deep with talent.

It seemed bad, because LSU scored on a 70 yard pass in the first quarter, then was shut down for most of the rest of the game while UT scored touchdowns on 3 straight drives....and because UT had the ball 10 minutes more than LSU. I was at the game, and remember LSU fighting back...the two things I wondered...1) why UT's punting sucked so much last night; 2) why LSU couldn't get somebody to slow Kelly Washington down.
BTW...UT held LSU to 53 rushing yards that game. While it was a great stat at the time...it showed why LSU was able to be so much more successful with Mauck at QB in the SEC CG. UT did a good job containing a less mobile Rohan Davey. Davey had -12 rushing yards that game.

Florida (tied the entire 4th quarter)

MSU (down late)
I specifically remember Bama giving UT a good game, with Price providing 2nd half heroics. So at least 5 of 13. For a 20-year old memory I did ok.
