Are they all starting Saturday?

Eta hey man I'm just messing with y'all. When the move was announced a few years ago I said y'all were a sleeping giant.

It will be no larger of a giant than Georgia, UF, bama, ect. Ect ect though. It's really hard to win one conference championship. We haven't had a repeat champion in 15 or so years.

You may never make it into the big 6 :(

OU is completely A&M's bitch in recruiting at this point. A&M already had commits from the Top 2 DT's in Texas outside of Manning (who was an OU legacy as his brother played there) and got Manning anyway despite OU having no other DT commits. Their next best defensive commit was Jordan Mastrogiovanni, that is it was until A&M just offered him and yanked him away in January without breaking a sweat.

OU is probably hurt the most by A&M's move to the SEC.

Our resources are virtually unmatched in this league. But as some have pointed out, we've rarely capitalized.

Well, I wouldn't say that...

A&M is third in the SEC, behind Alabama and Florida, and just ahead of LSU. Even that is because of a massive increase in contributions. If A&M does not capitalize going forward, it remains to be seen if the fan base will return to the apparent apathetic state it was in previously (the year before their revenue was below that of Arkansas).

That's revenue. LSU spent 20 million more than them on facilities.

And we did it while turning a profit. They have to spend more to win IMO.

I predict sometime in the near future Arkansas and A&M fans are going to have a complete thunderdome e-royal rumble for all of the internet.

Expenses are also available on that site; however, I was referring to the concept of the "endless coffers" of Texas A&M.

if USC wants to be at the big boy table they will need to pony up. their coaching salaries, not just HC need to be in the big 6.

Yeah, how'd that built in recruiting advantage work out for you in the Little 12?

You do realize our recruiting didnt skyrocket until we joined the SEC right?

And that is the ONLY reason it skyrocketed...

And now its not going to deline because these Texas boys can play in the best conference in the nation...

Mizzou hasn't won a conference title yet. There's still one more game to play.
