South Carolina- Win over Bama in 2010?
-------------------------------
Williams-Brice has seen it all - and though not anything that happened on the field, the 1986 Carolina vs Nebraska game saw a moment that defined the stadium itself and brought about a moniker still used today.
"If it ain't swaying, we ain't playin"
... a result of the East Upper 507/508 sections that had students jumping up/down so much those across in the West saw the structure float in a wave it appeared to be falling down on those in the East lower. It resulted in additional engineering supports being added to W-B.
-----------------------------------
personal iconic moment - 2012 Ace Sanders 73 yd punt return TD vs Georgia to go up 21-0 in 1Q. Crowd exploded so loud when Ace broke free at midfield the sound actually left the stadium and none of us could hear a damn thing. Musburger/Kirk Spermburp we're literally afraid the press box was gonna fall off the back of the West Upper.
Off air transcript between herbstreit and musburger during commercial breaks at USC UGA
After first USC score
"That was quick" - Herbstreit
After USC interception:
"Watch out, the defense is dialed in" -Musburger
"Long game yet" -Herbstreit
"My they look good" - Musburger
"What?" -Herbstreit
"That defense gets rolling and watch out" - Musburger
"Georgia needs a stop"- Herbstreit
After USC second touchdown:
"That looked too easy" -Herbstreit
"It sure did" - Musburger
"Heather, are you red or white?" - Musburger (Not sure but I think this refers to which sideline she is currently on)
"She's red, going white" -Unknown male (In truck maybe)
"Heather?" -Unknown male (In truck maybe)
"Heather?" -Unknown male (In truck maybe)
"Can we get a field report? I don't think Heather has a copy" -Unknown male (Someone in booth)
"It's awfully loud down there"- Musburger
"10-4" -Unknown male (reply to field report question from someone in truck)
Coming back from break following second score:
"Do we have Heather?" - Musburger
"Yes, will use first break S-1 and return. She cannot hear truck ques"- Unknown male. (Truck guy probably)
Following punt return for TD:
"Can you believe this?" -Herbstreit
"Can't hear a thing" - Musburger
"They don't have a clue right now" -Herbstreit
"Can I get an adjustment, I can't hear"- Musburger
"Can you feel this? Is our room moving?" - Herbstreit
" 6 west just said the same thing" - Unknown male (Booth guy refering to camera guy stating his position is shaking)
" Like bouncing kinda" -Background voice (Different booth guy replying to Herbstreit)
"I think it is" - Herbstreit
" South Carolina smacked them with that one" -Musburger
" I don't know if they come back from this one" -Herbstreit
" Is this the best scene in college football you've seen Herbie?" -Musburger
" I don't know if it's the best ever, but it's the scariest yeah" -Herbstreit
" Remarkable scene" -Musburger
" Unbelievable" - Herbstreit

The ones that I remember the stadium being the most insane and at peak were.....
- 2005 Florida - 1st quarter
Prothro's 2nd half punt return for a TD would have trumped the 1st quarter if it didn't get called back.

Davis-Wade hosted SC in the first football game in the country after 9/11. They had an American flag that covered the field from endzone to endzone.

Our stadium literally shook the ground, it caused as earthquake. If that doesn't make it the most badass stadium in sports ido what does. Geaux Tigers.

Although it was against us-Dueling Hail Marys against Tennessee in 2016
And if it would have counted: Todd Gurley’s kick return against Auburn after returning from suspension

Stevie getting loose against a top 10 UofL to win?
Stopping LSU’s little white fullback on fourth to win?
2007 was crazy.

Not in either of State or Ole Miss stadiums but at Memorial Stadium in Jackson, Ms. The Immaculate Deflection
Jesus, what a nightmare...wasn’t there but was driving around Jackson listening on the radio having my truck pushed around by the Wind.
Since we are on games at Jackson...could there be a bigger moment than State beating Bama in 1980? Also wasn’t there. Had tickets sitting on the counter at my house.Dad refused to see another Bama beatdown...
