Props to DVH letting him finish game with no pitch limit. That's rare. Proves he cares about his players in the special times for them

it reminded ne of ty Floyd vs florida . he had 17ks
and they were coming from a rising fastball ,florida couldn't lay off it

Prior to facing LSU he was 2 weeks removed from a 2 month injury rehab and had pitched only 6 innings over the last 10 weeks. Against LSU his fastball was 94-95. Against Murray it was 96-98 and he held that speed the entire game

Keeping that consistent speed through 100+ pitches was mind blowing.

Why are so many LSU fans all of a sudden sucking off Gage Wood on here? LSU put up 4 runs on this dude and knocked him out in 2 innings lol

Because good baseball fans can appreciate a great performance and give credit where it is due.

Its really impressive how we (LSU) have some of the best fans in the whole sport and at the same time have some of the most fricking stupid fans in the sport. I will let you figure out which one you are, we all know.

STFU hater. AGAINST ( noticed you're a dumbass that can't spell) a college world series team. We should have started him vs LSU he would have done the same to them

I doubt Arkansas fans will be bringing this up ad naseum 6 years from now like one fan base does over big performances.

Wood had a great day against a quality hitting team that’s it. No need for others to be jealous.

And hats off to the real LSU baseball fans on here for being complimentary.

Great hitting adjustment, LOL. You'd think after the first 5 innings the hitting coach would have told them to swing flatter and stop dropping the barrel.

Wow man I can’t believe nobody else thought to tell them that!!!
