I'd just as soon folks not break the law and enjoy the $40K or more education they are receiving by playing a game, that can lead to them making millions down the road.

Well, let's be honest.... The illegality of marijuana and the reasons for it are absurd.

Let's be more honest. It's illegal, and the absurdity of things are people breaking the law and crying about it. Get it legal, then smoke it. I've no sympathy for anyone that breaks the law by using any substance that is used for the purpose of getting buzzed or high.

Lets be more honest than that: people cried a lot about prohibition and now look where we are. Alcohol is a hell of a lot worse for you than marijuana and that's a fact. It could really help the economy if we weren't a nation full of uninformed bigots and morons.

Ladies and gentlemen... I present to you:

The gheyest thing I've ever read on the SECRant

The government would never legalize something that gives the user the power to see the truth.

The facts are that as of right now, it's illegal. Lobby to change the laws. Until then, don't break the laws. Speaking of uninformed and morons, I've witnessed people using a 20 pound bundle of pot to boost their 2 year olds booster seat and leave them by themselves in the backseat of a car while they were cutting a deal. Let's not pretend that smart people will only use it and that legalizing it will prevent stupidity like that and continued criminal behavior that surrounds it.

I understand what you are saying, but what makes the smoking of a naturally occuring plant illegal other than the fact that it is deemed a controlled substance. Smoking tobacco is far more dangerous to your health, but is legal.

Drinking alcohol has far more adverse health effects than smoking pot, but is a lawful activity for one who has reached the age of majority.

There is nothing inherently evil or immoral about smoking pot, other than it is currently against the law to possess it.

I think the country is getting closer to legalizing weed and it could easily happen in my lifetime.

Maybe they could allow them to not only smoke dope but sell it for a little extra spending money, sounds like a win win to me.

If it's legalized, it becomes regulated and taxed. There would be no need for pot dealers anymore because they would be out of business. People were idiots before weed and they will be idiots long after; we both know that. I've witnessed drunks throwing empty beer bottles at their adolescent children because they were upset that daddy is poisoning himself and yelling at mommy. Alcohol is legal, regardless.

Actually, I am not a pot head.

I just stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Considering you've probably never heard of your most important organ (okay 2nd most important organ) the Pineal Gland.. I wouldn't even know where to begin explaining it to you.

Graham Hancock is where I go when learning about altering consciousness and how it changes us. (That is if you don't just sit there and watch movies or play video games while high).
