It just seems so unfair. If you are not going to pay college athletes (share the wealth) for all the revenue they generate, surely the NCAA could find a way to keep them from forfeiting their eligibility just because they burned a blunt.

The man is still keeping folks down.

legalizing weed should have been on the docket as soon as it was banned. This (eta: the LSU story) wouldn't happen, b/c it'd be in stores. And I wouldn't have to deal with "dry spells"

I'm not saying they need it. OP asked which was more likely.

Players will never be paid as it's a step to losing non-profit status.

As sad as it is..

Its more likely we end up paying players.

Such a joke people lives are ruined over weed. Should be encouraged over alcohol. The government would never legalize something that gives the user the power to see the truth.

They don't do it because they enjoy weed (which they do), they do it because they want extra spending money.

Remove weed, then you are just forcing them to change means- not curing their desire for more money.

Start paying players, then expect illicit benefits under the table in an effort for top talent to be bid for.

There's no fixing it until they are treated like NFL players.

The greatest truth I ever saw while smoking weed was that Bobby Brown's song "On Our Own" is the second best song in the history of history.

Wow what..

Couldn't be more the truth. Weed allows you to reflect and see things differently, it makes most educated users see the world for the joke that it is.. it makes a lot of things seem redundant.

I should have prefaced that with 'well read and educated' users.

...it takes weed for you to make simple observations about life?
