The University of Texas created the interlocking UT logo in 1905.

Then, over 60 years later in 1967, Tennessee copied the logo of UT....the University of Texas.

More proof that Texas was the original UT.

Historical fact: Texas hasn't won a major men's national championship since 2005.

Suck it Horns down. Tennessee helped build this conference. Show some respect before we decide to schedule your asses every year

Fact - you are just a newbie that needs to shite up and color. UT has been in the conference for decades. You are just a leach of the system ….

I have never "shite up" before but if and when that ever happens, I would hope to be standing within shitting distance to the asswipe that started this thread

They were the color orange before you, and have more national titles than you. Plus they have Peyton Manning. You have a M &M on the sideline. Time to close your mouth, your breath stinks.

Are you stupid? Tennessee literally wore the power T and interlocking UT in 1900 on its baseball uniforms.

Tennessee Trademarks for UT and Power T

Below is a partial list of official trademarks of the university. The Office of Trademark Licensing maintains a complete list, as well as official licensing art sheets.

Logos and Graphics
Power T logo
Lady Vols logo
Smokey mascot
Orange and white checkerboard
University seal
Winged UT system logo
Institutional wordmarks

Verbiage
University of Tennessee
Tennessee
Volunteers
Lady Volunteers
Vols
Lady Vols
Go Vols
University of Tennessee, Knoxville
UT
Big Orange
Big Orange Country
Go Big Orange
Big Orange. Big Ideas.
Vol for Life
VFL
Rocky Top (requires special license)

Funny how Texas “owns” these/created them when Tennessee owns the licensing and trademark for it.
Look at the picture of the Tennessee baseball team hat. Also the baseball hats was also black back then as well, kinda like they are now.

What's wild is they don't even play each other this year. Just wait for that to happen.

You know Texas asked to join the SEC and not the other way around.

texsa is, has been, and likely will be full of crap. They have also benefited from more favorable refing than any team over the last 70 years. Still, comparing Tenn and texsa since WWII (You can argue about 1900 football among yourselves much like England can argue about their army and navy prior to WWI)

However, Tenn can "claim" more NCs but only two are AP legit.

1951 and 1998. The 38 title went to TCU (also undefeated).

texsa only claims 4 and 3 are 100% legit (1963, 1969, 2005). UPI 1970 is better than most goofy claims, but Nebraska was AP 1970 NC.
