He also never runs the football - in college or the NFL. Bottom of the league/conferences he's ever been in in rush attempts.
Good catch. Georgia had 525 rushing attempts and 415 pass attempts in 2019. I would think that number will be more balanced next year, with passing having a slight advantage since we are thin at RB for 2020.

Yep - agree. I'd be excited if I were a UGA fan.

Interested hire. This could be good if Kirby stays out of the way and fixes the culture problem

Fired by Tampa and Cleveland. Again, both had some weapons during his tenure and never really showed it on the field.

Nope. The head coach was fired both times.

Well, if the head coach gets canned, more than likely the staff goes too. That being said, I don't think he was officially let go at cleveland.
But Tampa bay's passing Offense was #4 in 2017, #1 2018. Kitchens called the plays at Cleveland.

He didn't call plays in Cleveland and had Tampa top 5 in the NFL in total offense. He was also very successful offensively at both Oklahoma State and Southern Miss.
In short, you're just wrong about that.

I mean I know you get the rap for being the resident retard on this board but in Tampa his team led the NFL in passing and didn't call plays in Clevland. His offense with Gundy was the best in the country for college.

Tampa had top 5 passing offenses under Monken in 2017 (#4) and 2018 (#1). I beg to differ.
He typically has been 55-45 pass in terms of "balance", but he also hasn't had the quality RBs that he will have in Athens, so that will be fascinating to watch.
I expect we will lose an offensive assistant soon, probably Hankton. Coley will slide to WR coach and Monken will be OC/QB coach.

Once again auburn fans proving to be the biggest idiots on here...

If the HC gets fired in the NFL, the assistants contributed to that firing. Not always true in CF.

Then get a QB guru to help Monken

He had one good year at Southern Miss (9 wins). That year he beat one team with a winning record.

He took over a team that went 0-12.

Congrats UGA fans.
I have no dawg in the fight (I'll show myself out) but this is probably one of the best hires this offseason. He's an excellent playcaller and schemer as well as being a very thorough teacher that will be able to roll out his concepts quickly. He doesn't love recruiting but UGA has NO issue there.
Jamie Newman is going to be bonkers in that offense.

You suck at reading. This response is totally irrelevant to his point.

And followed it up with two more losing seasons in a very weak league. He followed one of the worse coaches in CF (Ellis Johnson). Again, he had one good season, but look at the schedule that year.

He didn't call plays this year did he?
If that’s the case then why are fans saying he should’ve done more with the weapons he had in Cleveland?
