Has been confirmed by multiple outlets now though nobody knows what the exact role will be yet. UGA has yet to confirm

They just said on WJOX in Bham he's been brought in as the OC.
Although I thought Coley was still there. Right?

I was thinking this was the Army guy, Jeff not Todd. They are cousins.

I think this is a positive development. He should provide a boost to Georgia's offensive philosophy and that is sorely needed because that seems to be Kirby's blind spot. Here's hoping anyway

I don't know anything about him, is he good at his job?

He teaches a version of the Air Raid, and is highly regarded as a top offensive mind.

Monken learned under Gundy, UGA will look essentially like Oklahoma State teams from the early 2010s on offense.

He has a pretty good reputation as an offensive coach and he is pretty experienced. I can't make any definite prediction of how well it will go but I do think he will be an asset that's really needed

I knew the name but just looked him up. Looks like a good hire!

That'll be interesting. He's a respected offensive coach who has a solid track record.
He also never runs the football - in college or the NFL. Bottom of the league/conferences he's ever been in in rush attempts.
2011 B12 : 10/10
2012 B12 : 4/10
2013 CUSA : 14/14
2014 CUSA : 12/13
2015 CUSA : 9/13
2018 NFL : 22/32
Wonder how all that will work.

Really? Seemed like Chubb had a decent year this year.

He didn't call plays this year did he?
LOL, wasn't he the one telling other coaches before games how he'd practice stuff all week and Freddie would call a totally different group of plays?

Correct
I do think UGA has better RB personnel than any team he's previously been associated with until the Browns this season, but how that looks is obviously TBD.

Kitchens called the plays

Gotta think he comes on board with the understanding of finding a compromise point.
Good hire - shows Kirby is serious about doing what needs to be done to move forward.
