Of course the stream freezes a couple minutes before the game.

You have a weird hard on for Arkansas, for whatever reason.

Definitely felt that way last season, though.
This is what I was getting at. Looked like trash against TejasTech

Huh? Arkansas is my 2nd favorite SEC team by far. Don’t know what inclined you to think that.

Would like to add...If none of you made the trip to Arlington, I’d highly encourage you make the trip the next time your team is invited.
We arrived Friday at Live by Loewes. The hotel, Texas Live, and the stadium are all intertwined. Texas Live was quite fun on Saturday and resembled more of a football bowl game atmosphere with fans intermingled talking trash and tossing cold ones back. It is a nice set up they’ve built there.
It is quite weird seeing a beautiful Ballpark at Arlington directly across the street from Globe Life Park though. I hope they try to use the old ballpark as it still looks in excellent condition.

Thanks PW! Holy crap there is no one at the ball park today.
Hawgeye, the old ballpark still is a beaut in my opinion as well. It was a great place to see a game, and I think they have plans to continue to use it. I think they should just do the good weather games over there.

They converted it to an XFL Stadium.

I love stadiums. Prior to adulting, I would travel to places just to go to ballgames and check out stadiums. I am going to be honest, Globe Life is just "new" and that is about it.
While I am not a Rangers fan, where I grew up they were the regional team so I went to many games there. The Ballpark in Arlington(what I will always call it) had a retro look and had certain things about it that you always remembered. I always loved the multi-level white facade that sat beyone centerfield. Loved the homerun porch in right field. Liked the entire centerfield plaza.
Globe Life Field really does nothing for me. It looks as if they tried to incorporate brick arches beyond left field as this parks salute to The Ballpark at Arlington? Not sure really...Other than that, the roof seems to be the coolest thing....but its just a damn roof. The entire complex with the stadium, Texas Live, and Live by Loewes is neat and I loved that aspect of it.
I guess my point is, they left a fine piece of baseball architecture to play in a place that has a retractable roof that will leave you wondering why it was built.
Also, the brown pellets in the turf will mind frick you into believing it is real grass, just FYI. I mind debated myself the entire first game(State vs. Texas).

The fact they build one without a roof was a poor choice. However, I agree 100% they lost all the charm.

Vandy’s pitcher just threw three straight fast balls.
98, 98, and 99

Thanks to you and the poster above for this.
Although, I might have been better off just being streamless. 38 Ks in 20 innings is becoming sickening

Bardaminium(sp) fad has now entered MLB in Texas.
Also, on the first level seat concourse, it is going to be a cluster frick when there are lots of fans in there again. It is a smaller walking area with concession stands cramped into the small space plus the liquor sales in the middle of walk area.
