Thing I’m wondering about is why TF is Mond still Aggies QB in the first place.

That’s where I am, also.

Look at this guy. His team took an L from Mond at home no less. This gif shows what happened perfectly:

Mond must have some good days at practice otherwise Jimbo would have already replaced the guy. The bigger problem is you have to have someone equal or better at QB to replace with and Jimbo has failed to recruit such an option as of today. Perhaps he has such an option on the campus for 2020. Mond has a short in his wiring system.

Yes, anytime you lose at home to a shitty team with a shitty QB it hurts. Kinda like when we went into PYLE field with Muschamp and welcomed aggy into the SEC with a loss, the first of many. And aggy had a Heisman QB.

The question we should be asking is was he as good as Burrow the year before and is he set up to make a jump. The stats from Burrow junior campaign are about comparable to Mond’s.

None of the same variables exist.

It wasnt just Brady or Burrow getting better, although both certainly happened.

2018 was almost a worst case scenario for the LSU offense, it was Burrow's first season starting, he had no offseason with the team, very little experience on the entire unit, and it was Ensminger's first full season as an OC in 20 years.

People want to lazily point to Brady as the difference while ignoring the fact that the 2018 LSU offense was basically learning as it went.

Mond also said he was the best quarterback in the SEC.

Just like ALL Aggies, What Mond Says Means Nothing. He is a big mouthed weak and soft Aggot.
The Aggies lose 3 game this year. They lose to LSU, Bama and Auburn. It’s how it is and really, how it supposed to be.

The cow bells may even beat them, but I doubt it.

Aggies ceiling is 9 wins plus a bowl game to make it 10. That’s it. No sec championship and no national championship.

Keep going back in history gator. Eventually we’ll get back to where you guys were relevant. Us on the other hand, have to keep going back further. And further.

Keep flaming timmy. You went out on a big limb with your prediction. I think everyone agrees that 10-2 should be the step forward and 9-3 is not. Should be a fun season.

It boils down to Jimbo and trickles down to Mond. Those are the two guys with the expectations. Anything less than 10 wins in CS is a failure next year.

At the very least, you’ll get rid of Mond when his time is up. It’s a long wait to do that with Jimbo.

I don’t think he has staled as a coach, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

A&M would have been better off if Mond has entered draft
Only thing they have going is their easy schedule
Should be 8-0 to start

I still thinks it’s a huge disadvantage LSU gets Florida every year and auburn gets uga every year from East
Those are much tougher games than other west teams play and gives them a huge tie breaker edge

Preseason A&M hype is normal enough to make me think we just might have a season after all.

Lol of course it illustrates what a jump burrow made. That was never up for debate. The point was that Burrow made a huge jump bc of more time and the system. Mond’s jump will take more personal improvement because he’s been in the same system for what will be his third year in the system.

I wish him luck, but he had seemed lost and out of his element the first two years in the system.

Didn't read the article, but you can't hate on him for being positive.

Last season, A&M is ranked with an easier schedule, and probably a contender in the Pac 12 and Big 12. They could have beaten Auburn and Georgia, they were respectable against Clemson and Alabama. Yes, LSU crushed them.

Next season, we're looking at a road game at Auburn, if they win that they very likely are 10-0 going into the Alabama and LSU games.

This is the "prove it" year for Jimbo. He either earns his pay and solidifies his job, or he's on a red-hot seat. There is no in-between; 9-3 is going to piss a lot of people off. And God help him if he loses to Colorado or State.

I take a couple of Advil's and I throw better than Mond.

The guy is delusional.
