Alright fine, here are his quotes:

quote:

"A lot of people emphasize that the last 2% is the hardest. I feel like we're at the last 2% from being a good team to being elite."

quote:

The Aggies are coming off an 8-5 season in which it lost to Clemson, Alabama and LSU by double digits when each was ranked No. 1. That includes a 50-7 blowout defeat to LSU, but Mond also was part of a seven-overtime win over the Tigers in 2018, so he saw the leap they took firsthand.

"It's kind of weird being able to play all those guys and seeing what kind of change LSU made," Mond said. "They were a good team the year we beat them, but becoming an elite team and one of the best teams of all time this past year just kind of shows the work they put in."

Mond hopes the lesson the Aggies take is that "it only takes one year" to show vast improvement.

quote:

“I’m the best the SEC has to offer, there’s no doubt about that. Can’t wait to show it, AGAIN, this year.”

He legit thinks he’s an elite qb. That’s hilarious.

Didn’t Joe Burrow arrive late like right before the season started and didn’t have much time to work/practice prior to 2018?

He still thinks he’s the best QB in the SEC. Good god.

No one will argue that he is Joe Burrow, but he’s just as good as Kyle Trask. Everyone agrees that Joe Burrow took a huge step forward his senior year. Whether that was him being older and a smart senior, or was it Brady’s offense, or the new theory was it was Ensminger’s the whole time bs can all be debated. The question we should be asking is was he as good as Burrow the year before and is he set up to make a jump. The stats from Burrow junior campaign are about comparable to Mond’s.

Don’t take this as me saying Mond will have a senior season comparable to Joe Burrow’s historic senior year. That isn’t happening nor would any sane person believe that. I don’t care for Mond particularly, but he is set up to have a pretty good senior year stats wise with the schedule, returning offense, and a coach that is known for Qb development. I’m sure he’ll pull a Mond and look horrific some also.

He’s a dumbass for originally saying that but nothing in this article suggests he’s saying that again

Reading skills are hard on the bayou. We understand. You do realize that LSU went 15-0 and won the national title right?

Key difference(s) here is that Mond was in his third year as the starter, second year in the system.

Burrow didn’t play for three years then stepped into a new system in June and played in a mostly old, run based offense.

Mond’s junior numbers should far exceed Burrow’s junior numbers but they just don’t :(

Is Joe ‘Borrow’ supposed to be a shot at LSU?

Keep on keeping on with Mond. Dude is trash.

Mond’s shoulder pads fit him funny, like they sit up too high. Also I can’t tell if he is athletic or not, seems like he has some good speed but also plays super rigid and lacks any type of fluidity.
