Why are Missouri fans talking shite about basketball? They arent even a historical basketball power and got bounced early from the tourney last year. The best basketball teams they have ever had managed to make it to the elite 8.

Why are Arkansas fans talking shite? They didn't even make the NIT last season.

because over th course of basketball history we are a far superior program to yours. Our head coaching position is a destination job, while yours is a stepping stone to jobs like ours.

It was literally only a stepping stone job for mike Anderson who started his career at arky. Name one other coach who has used mizzou as a stepping stone...oh wait you can't

If one guy wanting to coach there makes it a destination job, every major college in America is a destination job.

It was one of the 5, finished unbeaten in Big8 play.

It was nice of Nolan to send in the walk-ons when he had a 60 point lead or the score would have been much more lopsided.

Lets be honest it could be very hard for cal to recreate what he had last season. If this years UK squad is anything like the one 2 seasons ago I like my chances and think Louisville will be a tougher win

Of course Cal has a track record to back up his ability to take a bunch of new guys and make them Elite Eight quality or better. As he has every year at Kentucky so far. I don't know of any Kentucky fan who expects him to recreate a NC team with this squad. The potential is there as usual but it all depends on how it comes out in the wash in March.

I think the bigger question is what has Haith done to show he can take a hodgepodge bunch of transfers into a team that the OP claims can do what no Mizzou team has done in basketball? Our coach has done no worse then your program's best at Kentucky. So why is this year any different?

The switch from kU to UK is ironic, but kU /MU rivalry was far from one-sided

But the history of UK vs KU is pretty one sided. Jayhawks are jr high compared to Wildcats! If Mizzou fans are using KU as the measuring stick then they are going to be mighty depressed when the Blue Mist is in town.

Kansas owns Missouri 172 - 95 (64% winning percentage)
Kentucky owns Kansas 21- 6 (78% winning percentage)

UK should really own Mizzou!

You're spot on except for the cocky part, but honestly some schools haven't made it to the NCAA tournament for almost a decade

Georgia?
LSU? (Glen Davis years)
South Carolina?
Ole Miss?

False again... In the 08-09 season LSU was the outright SEC regular season champions. We went to a final four six years ago also. When was Mizzou's last appearance there?
