Seems like late first to a decent team or early second to a decent team that trades back might be better than going early in the first... Who the frick wants to go to Cleveland?

He's not ready, but he's not going to get any more ready by staying at Mizzou with what they run. May be best for him to go and have an NFL team work on him for at least 2 years with things he wouldn't get to work on at Mizzou (ie: using the whole field instead of just working to one field, like I've heard announcers say Mizzou does).
As for this itself, considering that most of the East will still be a mess next year, the turnaround Mizzou did after 1-5 is likely going to be sustained for now. I still don't know what to feel on Odom, if he can make a leap from here and have a good season, perhaps he's good but if it's still around 7-5ish, with the East, then Mizzou is being helped by the mess in the East.

Right. Those are all shite teams who gave up lots of points to other teams as well, not just Missouri.

Facts make you cry? Any half arse team should've run through the East this year. That's reality breh.

Tha hell, Mizzou???
Why did you not score 100? And you let the other team score?
Disappoint I am.
Side note: I see Mizzou has Troy on their 2019 schedule so quality competition is around the bend.

If you can’t see a clear difference - going from giving up 43 points to Missouri State & losing to 6-6 Purdue by 5 touchdowns, to blowing out 4 of your last 5 opponents in conference play, I can’t help you.
They were absolutely a much better team later in the season than they were early on.

I thought I had seen him mocked in the first round in some places and plenty of QB's go first round from spread systems if they have an arm like his. I guess I just don't see the benefit of returning. THe system is likely to stay the same.
He should be mocked in the 1st. The draftniks are late to the party.
Lock's dad was a Mizzou guy. What sold me on his returning was his dad asking him a while back if he could live with someone else taking snaps under center next year and Drew said "no". He may regret it with the tough schedule next year, but the kid loves Mizzou so more power to him.

Winning the east is an accomplishment to mizzou, cute.

Mizzou should hire Leach.

Mizzou will bounce back. They have a way of exceeding expectations.

Look at their opponents on the back half of their schedule
