Not happening. It's moving to Nashville permanently.

Yeah, here are UK fans at the game in YUM. Hard to tell UL is the home team.

I would hope so. It's half as far as Atlanta for you

I follow both. I just don't follow basketball nearly as closely as I follow football. Hell, I follow the women's basketball team more closely than I follow the men.

Yeah, I'm strange. I know.

But if you have so many sellers, shouldn't you have more folks with $$? Seriously tho, now that INBEV owns BUD will it affect the Cards down the road?

No, I think BUD being owned by a big european conglomerate will not be the same for the Cards down the road. Paul Allen owns the Seahawks and here they are in the Super Bowl. It is more of "I am unhappy with non american companies are buying up american brands" type thinking. In the past it had to help the Cards that BUD was in town.

Honestly the worst thing about the SEC move for us is the placement of the basketball conference tournaments. We had the Big Eight then Big 12 tourney in Kansas City for years and years and years and it was a ton of fun for us. I went to them annually growing up. It was close by not just for Mizzou and kansas but also K-State, Iowa State would bring tons of fans too. Oklahoma and Okie State when good would have solid contingents. Great atmosphere.

SEC tournaments by contrast seem pretty much to consist of: an overwhelming UK majority regardless of which city its played in, followed by a smattering of whatever local team is closest to the host city, and not much else.

I did go to ATL for Mizzou's SEC football championship game this year (it was fun, WildcatMike, UK should really try it some time). I probably won't go there for hoops this year just because from a work scheduling standpoint its a long flight and if Mizzou does make the NCAA tourney I'd rather have the work time off to fly out to the NCAA first and second rounds...and if Mizzou doesn't make the NCAA tourney then well the SEC tourney will just be a depressing experience anyway.
