Which QB was it that hit a late game 4th and long td strike to win it?

Jacob Eason to Isaiah McKenzie. One of these years you're going to pay us back for these things.

That was the one. Jesus y’all have our number haha.

Nothing beats what Kentucky has on us right now. Georgia does it themselves but with Kentucky there has been some bad late game voodoo with refs lol.

You're not gonna get in with that attitude.

I know

That’s why I have to gamble my way in. It’s a consequence/incentive for missouri fans to hope they don’t lose

Not only no, but frickin' no way in hell no!

However, if he is silly enough to bet with a beaker then you
need to pony up with a permanent ban. Be gone fool!

That’s not fair at all.

Anyway, I still see 7-8 wins this year. Not sure about missouri though

Vandy played us close in 2006 when we won the national championship. They would go 4-8 that year. They would then go 5-7 the next year.

Playing close doesn’t mean anything.

You hung tough for 50 minutes of a 60 minute game.

Congrats?

A lot of our running back receiving production is likely to get shifted to Lovett.

It'll be some time before we find another receiver who can catch out of the backfield like Kenny McIntosh.

Mizzou always seems to play us tough as nails.

Wait, what?

We've played them 11 times since their carpetbagging asses were inexplicably installed in the SEC. Out of the 10 losses handed to them by UGA since 2012, 7 of them have been by at least 2 scores. In this series, MiZZZou has even been shut out twice. Once in their own house.

Last year's game and the Eason-to-iMac game-winner were the only times in Kirby's HC career they've played it close.

Mizzou’s incessant Tijuana Brass trumpet music caught us completely by surprise.

Maybe. Maybe not.

Kenny had great hands and great range.

We are specifically recruiting those skillsets, now.
They don't fall off trees. But we recruit nationwide and we have a blueprint of success with James Cook and Kenny McIntosh.

Heupel's offense gave us some fits when he was at Mizzou.
They would have a dominant year running in the league. We'd shut down their run game but they passed for 250 yards and 4 TDs (2017)

The next season, they were passing all over the league. We shut down the pass game, but they ran for 170 and 4 TDs (2018).

The games weren't "close" late. But their offense gave our defense some lessons (which we've used against Tennessee the past couple of seasons).

Mizzou played us harder than any team other than OSU did all year. Tough team unlike the entitled softies at UT, LSU, Auburn, and UF.

hat was the best Mizzou atmosphere I’ve seen since Pinkel left. I truly believe Mizzou has SEC chops, but we gotta have the right guy in place. Make-or-break year for Drink (and I think he “makes”). Very excited for this season.

This is the cold, hard truth. OU and Nebraska both used to publicly acknowledge that Mizzou was a "sleeping giant" "but nobody could seem to wake it." They were probably as confused as our fans as to why a school with two to three times the potential resources as either of them could not commit to creating a winning program.

In my opinion, it is not a complicated issue: most folks in Missouri are not going to shell out cash, travel from KC or STL, skip prime hunting/lake weekends, and skip a Chiefs game if Mizzou isn't committing to success. They don't call it the "show me state" for nothing. And that showing starts with Mizzou putting its money where its mouth is: make a big, splashy coaching hire. Create some buzz around the program.
