You are talking about a close game lost in a season with 6 other loses. What’s the point of this thread?

Merely pointing out that Mizzou is returning 80% of production from a team that had 4 of 6 losses within one score. Including this great game against a team that steamrolled everyone except Mizzou to a title.

Preseason expectation amongst media is low but I believe this team will only get better. I hate that you guys took Lovett. If you didn’t, I honestly believe we’d be closer to 90% of production on offense returning if not higher.

There were 7 losses last season.

80%

So that makes you win 1 or 2 more games?

Did you get a new head coach?

I'm hearing his on field production could rival Brock Bowers this season.

A lot of our running back receiving production is likely to get shifted to Lovett.

That Mizzou front 7 was legit. At least that day. Our players said they were the toughest at some point in the season.

I’ve never said that before a football season

We are on the upswing and our schedule isn’t suicidal

I wasn't at the game, but friends of mine who were there commented about the atmosphere of Mizzou's crowd being "electric". Y'all's fans were fired up. Thankfully, the Dawgs got fired up at the right time to eek out the win.

Congrats to Mizzou on a well-played game.

Your kicker was on fire that night

Almost put a can through the drywall after watching his pudgy arse put another 50 yarder through the uprights.

Was the only time all regular season I wasn't sure about the win

He’s so fricking good.

Only knock is he gets banged up a lot. I was very sad to see him go. Product of NIL man.

Mizzou always seems to play us tough as nails.

Just glad it's in Athens this year, but we'd better be ready. I was nervous about the Mizzou game last year and Mizzou played well enough to beat us. I'm nervous again this year.

Don't sleep on Mizzou, imo.

Maybe if you weren't such an a-hole....

I mean, they let me post there, and I'm quite the a-hole.

Even when we do you guys always pull something at the end to get the dub.

Which QB was it that hit a late game 4th and long td strike to win it? I believe that was the same game that J’mon Moore dropped a TD catch from Lock that was ruled a fumble with nothing but green grass in front of him with like a min left. I was at a wedding that game and was sick when I saw how it ended lol.
