I didn't get to watch the spring game, but know you have KB and some good receivers. What are your thoughts on this season?

They are going to be favored in a minimum of 8 games and possibly 10 or 11 depending on how the season goes. The one I am doubting they will be favored in is at Georgia.

My “way-too-early most-rosey” guess. I am assuming (oh boy) that the D gets their act together. 11-1. We can't bitch about the schedule being too tough at this time.

at Wyoming W...will Odom have 'em ready?
West Virginia (No Grier) W...better be ready.
South Carolina W...glad this is home game.
Troy W
Ole Miss (Homecoming) W
at Vanderbilt W...gotta win on the road.
at Kentucky W...does UK still own us???
at Georgia L...darn road game.
Florida *W
Tennessee **W
at Arkansas in LR W

*I don't buy Mullen having the lizards clicking in year two. We creamed 'em last year. I'm hoping for 1' snow and cold.

**Only way we lose to tenny is by having significant injuries.

Maybe 2nd loss?...Ole Miss or UF will be a heart-breaker that we should have won. My biggest concern is Special Teams. We lost some kicking talent.

UK is in a rebuild.

We have a very favorable schedule and a ton of pieces coming back. I will definitely miss Lock's arm but I think Kelly gets it done. Question mark is DB and it "appears" to be getting straightened out. We're solid everywhere.

No way the bowl ban stays in place

at Wyoming - W
West Virginia - W
South Carolina - Toss up. Something crazy will happen.
Troy - W
Ole Miss - W
at Vanderbilt - W
at Kentucky - W
at Georgia - L
Florida - Toss Up. I think Florida is going to be much better this year.
Tennessee - W (we are going to destroy them again)
at Arkansas - W (maybe they will score this year?)

Anywhere from 8-3 to 10-1. Top 25 finish with a good bowl game if the appeal works out... which I highly doubt they keep the postseason bans intact.

10 win team with a legitimate shot a team with a legitimate shot at Atlanta

Strengths

Entire offense. Lots of depth, lots of playmakers. Experienced, quality OL. KB needs to stay healthy

CB, LB and DT should all be good also

Potential weaknesses

DE, S and Special Teams. Young at DE and S (probably feel better at S at this point). We legitimately have no punter and our kicker is erratic. Kick Coverage has been poor for a couple years.

I see Missouri contending for the conference title this year if I’m being honest.

Kelly Bryant will keep their offense rolling. Defense should be improved.

Plus the rest of the conference is down. OU will be good, Texas is okay, OkSt will be solid, but I think Missouri can beat them out for the title.

Pretty sure one of the Porters will get hurt again. 8-4 or 9-3.

9-3. No matter who the coach is every year we lose a game we should not have lost. And very seldom win a game we should not.
