I've always said 45. Several sources have said 46. It was somewhere in that area
45 or 53, LSU could have chosen to play same as Missouri is playing. Missouri could have less on Saturday than they have now.
LSU has 104 players according to their own roster... LINK
SEC teams will need to have at least 53 scholarship players available, including a quarterback, seven offensive linemen and four defensive linemen, according to guidelines announced by the league on Friday. If a team can't meet the minimum requirements, it can choose to play anyway. Otherwise, its game will be rescheduled or declared a no contest.
Orgeron was afraid to play. Missouri's coach is not. I'm sure the players on each team will remember. They say that once you've quit the first time, it'll be easier the next time.

Except you didn't actually know and no one knew exactly what those numbers were it was never made public. Giving how you flip flop depending on if you trying to troll or defend LSU against very serious allegations you normally deflect when a poster takes you to task.
Actually I do know but whatever.
Nobody has "taken me to task."
All y'all can say is hur dur scurred.

Maybe, but as of now, they meet the minimum requirements, LSU, Texas A&M, and several others did not.

Again, Missouri meets the minimum requirements that every SEC school agreed upon.
LSU did not, its why you saw four postponements last weekend.

Bammers dont have the seeds to admit that no other SEC team has played with less than 53 scholarship players either as agreed to by the members of the conference.

You totally ignore that LSU could have played. 46 or 53, doesn't make a difference
If a team can't meet the minimum requirements, it can choose to play anyway.
You also ignore that LSU has 104 players on its roster. They could have played same as Missouri is going to play.

For the third time, Missouri has met (so far) the minimum agreed upon standards to play.
LSU did not.

for the 3rd time, it doesn't matter
you're just trying to spin it away but you can not

Why are you so mad that you couldn't play a depleted LSU team?
I don't see you crying about any other team postponing games.

still trying to spin away the fact that your coach was scared to play and the Missouri coach is not.
Do you think Missouri with 53 scholarship players is a more talented team than LSU with 46 scholarship players? They both have about 100 players total.
If a team can't meet the minimum requirements, it can choose to play anyway.

Yes, so why do you think a coach shouldn't give his team the best chance to compete?
Why should LSU play a game with only 45 scholly players and missing all of their long snappers, tight ends, most of their receivers, and only having one quarterback?
Why would a coach do that?

We're not crying...we're making fun of LSU!
And you know it.
And you know it.

This is a really simple answer most of the time, to get better

How do you get better by playing walk ons and multiple players out of position? Especially against a good team?

Why?
For doing the exact same thing everyone else has done?

because it's scheduled game.
Why should any team ever play if they aren't assured they will win the game?
Why did Alabama play last year with so many injuries?
Why is Missouri playing though they will be down to 53 or less scholarship players? I'm pretty sure it's because the team wants to play and the coach isn't a coward.

Why does your staff have so little control over your obviously irresponsible players?

Because not every position is going to be playing back ups, it can also build depth.
