It’s got great restaurants. Phenomenal, really.
Stop in Sidney St Cafe or any of the joints on the Hill or most of the places in downtown Clayton. Get a coffee at Sump Coffee on Jefferson (it’s worth the 10 minute drive from ScottTrade). Get a burger at OConnell’s in Shaw, or at Carl’s Drive In in Brentwood or take a quick jaunt down 55 to Stacked in South City. Head over to Soulard after the games. You’ll have a good time if you allow yourself to.
What more can you want than top-notch food, some adult beverage and great basketball?
Don’t pretend anyone is coming to the SEC BB tournament for cultural enrichment.

I've been on this semi-laugh at the tournament in St Louis train, but holy shite people are acting like St Louis is Mogadishu or at the very least 2001 Detroit or Ft Wayne.

STL is Southeastern Missouri though..
Also, southern/downstate Illinois is nothing like Chicago/the north. It's just as trashy as the Southeast. Many SEC fans will fit in just fine.

St. Louis is not a shite hole and as others have pointed out, its known for hosting NCAA tourneys. Mizzou is our fellow partner in the SEC and we need to spread it around.
