St. Louis is absolutely not part of the South, much less Southeastern. I have lived in St. Louis and in every way, it is Chicago's uglier little brother. From Cardinal baseball (and formally football) to Blues hockey, they obsess north, not south. They don't give a damn about college sports except possibly when the Billikens make the tourney once every decade or so.
The southern half of Missouri has southern leanings, but on summer weekends, when half of St. Louis descends on Lake of the Ozarks and other weekend getaways down south, it turns into a shitfest just like where they came from.
The Southeastern Conference should play all of its head to head games (regular season and tournaments) in the Southeastern part of the country.

Yeah, but St. Louis is an absolute shithole and that really is a bad thing when that is where the SOUTHEASTERN Conference tournament is scheduled to be held.
