Well, on the bright side of all this...Mizzou wont embarrass the SEC in a Bowl game and their recruiting can't get any worse.

The true beauty is NO ONE CARES.

We'd pretty much all had forgotten about this because no one here deemed it a big deal. Why?

1. The so called tutor was proven to have acted alone.
2. She had training about what was acceptable help and so forth.
3. She had claimed that her actions were sanctioned by Mizzou and encouraged - all proven to be false. Mizzou found that she did this on her own.
4. She attempted to extort money from many different places, attempted to "sell" her story, even had a go fund me site for some time. In short, she needed money and thought this would be an easy pay day. Didn't happen so she tried to burn down the school.
5. The players who cheated actually served suspensions - they were punished.

Most of this happened long enough that we pretty much thought it was over.

NCAA - we all know they're corrupt. Plausible deniability is key. No school should ever admit to anything because you'll get hammered if you do. As mentioned, NC can have fake classes. Michigan State covered up sexual misconduct for years, Baylor football and its rape culture, Beaker U is dirty as hell...nothing for those schools.

Not that any one would hire her, but the tutor in this case got a 10 year show cause for any possible job offers in the future. Dave Bliss, the former Baylor basketball coach? He got the same 10 year show cause for his run in with the NCAA.

Just in case you forgot, Dave Bliss was the Baylor basketball coach who attempted to cover up a murder that happened on his watch because he was afraid that his cheating would be uncovered as part of the investigation.

Enough venting I suppose...good news is Kelly Bryant has stated that he's staying.

Luckily most of the class has already signed, although apparently Bryant was already getting heavily contacted.

Here's a link to Barry Odom's response:

Lol... this is the situation everyone was crying about saying that she is just a disgruntled former employee and nothing would come from it. Now your shite program is in an even deeper darker hole.

You're also certainly stuck with odom going forward now.

Mizzou gets this, but by God UNC can have entire fake courses and not even a wrist slap.

I stand with my SEC brothers, screw the NCAA for doing this to the Tigers and letting UNC coast in the BIGGEST cheating scandal in NCAA history.

PS, they did not even slap the wrist of UNC it was more like a high 5.

shite like this lets you know just how little of a program you are a fan of in the NCAA's eyes.

How easy the NCAA went on UNC who cheated their asses off for nearly 20 years makes this pretty hard to digest. NCAA had a clear-cut case to hit UNC hard, and they turned their heads and looked away.....the majority of UNC's success in MBB which made them into a "blue blood" elite took place over those years while they were cheating.

I look at John Wooden and Dean Smith in different lights today than I once did. Both are now considered among the "all-time greats" of MBB coaches, but both cheated hard to get there....

This sucks Mizzou guys - condolences. It's been a while but I still remember where I was and how I felt when our penalties were announced in 2002. It's a helpless and angry feeling.

I fully expect Harvey Weinstein to be the next ncaa president at this point.

1. One school has fake classes, admits it in their initial findings then the ncaa said they made a typo. Then goes on to lie about it.

2. Other school finds stuff against their standards, reports it, self-inflicts penalties and gets the hammer.

3. Anything happened to MSU or the adidas schools yet? Will anything happen? No.

IIRC... NCAA makes little on college football and basically nothing on the bowls.

Damn near all their money comes from running March Madness every year..

Could be completely wrong but DGAS enough to delve into it deeply, lol.
