Drink is probably the best coach whose team is not going to be in the playoff, so it's logical that he's in demand. I hope for Missouri's sake that he stays, but I could see him being interested in Florida.

What is that source?

It’s on PowerMizzou the 247 site.

It some twat positioning himself as an insider.

A real insider that has been proved to know inside information says the exact opposite.

He is the one that correctly predicted Wilson II to Mizzou and that Green was hurt before either was public.

Be kinda funny if Mizzou & PSU swapped coaches.

In the end, I think Mizzou keeps Drink.

I’m not sure Franklin isn’t better,

Any coach that is established and wants to come into the SEC is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. With a nine game schedule, and the CFP not caring about anything but wins many SEC coaches will be quick turnover as the schools search for something better.

I'd be looking to leave for B1G or ACC if at a mid-tier school and you get some interest from elsewhere.

But wait until next season when Mizzou finally plays a decent schedule relative to the rest of the league… they’ll be exposed just like Kentucky was.

Too bad you jackasses couldn't do any of the exposing.

Lets be honest, if we lost to TAMU and OU, Im not sure any program that's "better" will want him.

It could be chalked it up to a 3rd string quarterback.

Now also losing to Moo State or Hogville would make it a very tough sell.

Random message board user on powermizzou said it who has never proven to know anything. There are guys on the same board saying the opposite that clearly do have connections.

Bama, @Vandy, TAMU and OU make for a decent schedule. .Auburn and USC sucked, that's not really on us or drink.

Mizzou has played two ranked teams so far this season… is 0-2. Arkansas and South Carolina have each played 5 already. If you think that’s not a lucky draw, you can’t be helped.

It's really unbelievable how stupid college football fans have become. They believe anything they read...AI is going to cause a lot of havoc with these tools.

Drink is locked in and going......no where.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD...but no guarantees in business. Dude's buyout is nothing...idk if it's worth paying him top 5 $$ with top 30 results, but, stability amidst the chaos in CFB can take a program far in this day and age.

Kentucky just sucks now They’re losing to bad teams and have ever since 2022. South Carolina looked like a playoff team against them

Kentucky’s record vs unranked teams by season since Stoop’s second season:

2014: 5-3 (.625)
2015: 5-5 (.500)
2016: 6-4 (.600)
2017: 7-3 (.700)
2018: 8-1 (.889)
2019: 8-3 (.727)
2020: 5-3 (.625)
2021: 9-2 (.818)
2022: 6-3 (.667)
2023: 6-2 (.750)
2024: 3-3 (.500)
2025: 3-1 (.759) so far

Nothing has changed. He’s lost either 2-3 games every year against UNRANKED teams for the past seven seasons… this year being no different.

The only thing that is different is the number of unranked teams played in each season.

In 2019 and 2021, Kentucky played 11 teams that finished unranked in the AP poll! How is a schedule that easy even possible in the SEC?

Last season, Kentucky played six teams that finished ranked in the AP poll. They are on track to play six again this year.

In 2015 they played 2 ranked teams.
In 2016 they played 3 ranked teams.
In 2017 they played 3 ranked teams.
In 2018 they played 4 ranked teams.
In 2019 they played 2 ranked teams.
In 2020 they played 3 ranked teams.
In 2021 they played 2 ranked teams.
In 2022 they played 4 ranked teams.
In 2023 they played 5 ranked teams.
In 2024 they played 6 ranked teams.

Notice how the schedule finally caught up with him? When he went 10-3 in 2021 people were absolutely gushing over how great of a coach he was. Meanwhile he played just two ranked teams in the final AP poll. Two tough games out of 13. He had twice as many losses that season to unranked teams as he had wins against ranked teams.

But the average fan was too stupid to see it, and Kentucky was dumb enough to give him a new contract with guaranteed money.

Nothing with Stoops has changed except that his schedule finally became a normal SEC type of schedule.

At least we'll have company from Ole Miss when the Lane train heads to the swamp.

If Drink leaves, then well that's on him and I have total confidence in our president and AD to find a good replacement. I would find it hard to believe however that Drink would give up everything he has in COMO. Dude basically could write his own ticket for years at this point, that being said -- go on which ya bad self if you think the PSU job is better. M-I-Z.
