Missouri is perfectly positioned in the dead center of the country. Such a mix of cultures. We're the northern most southern state and the southern most farm belt state. St. Louis is the western most Eastern city, while Kansas City is the eastern most Western city.

The state itself has become much more conservative, yet still overwhelmingly overturned becoming a Right To Work state after the politicians made it law a few years ago. Taxes are reasonable and work is plentiful. And other than the deep urban shitholes, it's a great place to raise a family.

You left out weed for recreational use is allowed , Missouri has
more shoreline than California but all except one lake is
man made , it's the black walnut capitol of the world and home to
SubTropolis , the world's largest underground business complex ,
at six-million-square-feet of buildings.....and yes, Missouri belongs in the SEC.

I’m concerned about Little Rock, I hate to see a town go down especially our capitol city. But when it starts happening it generally doesn’t stop.

I watched pine bluff go from a place to go and shop and such to a a mere dilapidated hull in my lifetime.

Many factors are involved,

Yup, we’re mostly morons like the south.

The vast majority of morons in MO reside in the KC and St Louis metro areas, could say the same about COMO.

You think rural areas anywhere in this country are providing taxes to cities?

State taxes are state taxes… road taxes are road taxes…. Income taxes are income taxes… it isn’t like the state governments say county X road taxes are only used for county X. All pay for all, but the larger cities in many cases get an inordinately larger slice. So, yes.

It’s crazy the difference in accents once you meet people from STL.

Sounds like Chicago

Unironically, yes. I automatically assume you have lower critical thinking skills if you tell me you lean a certain way.
