So how does it feel to know that the SEC was Mizzou's second choice? 
I have to defend our tradition, after all Mizzou invented football homecoming. Top that tradition~!
Officially sanctioned by the NCAA, Jeopardy! and Trivial Pursuit as the originator of homecoming, the University of Missouri is proud of their long-standing homecoming tradition. It was there in 1911 where Mizzou's Athletic Director Chester Brewer asked alumni of the school to help inaugurate the new location of their football field by "coming home" to attend the annual game against the University of Kansas.

It's as good a comparison as any. Just because it was a down season doesn't mean it's always down. And like I said above, we know we don't belong, we don't really care to be here, but y'all paid more than the B1G so send the damn check.

Weather can only be used as an excuse to why attendence low, actually cancelling games is bullshite. We've been second to LSU in attendence per game the past couple of years only because of random blizzards, hurricanes, and volcanoes. Despite Baum being in the middle of tornado alley, subject to hurricanes, getting more snow than Anchorage, and next to Mt. Vesuvious we still have managed to show up and party balls in the outfield.
Please take notes and address this issue accordingly.

I will say, you Arky fans remind me a lot of the Cubs. Very emotionally committed to your team despite being let down every year. I'd bet y'all are already talking about how you can't wait for next year in basketball. Am I wrong?

I recall 3 inches of snow on the ground during a weekend series vs Purdue. Cohen (when our coach) had players, grounds crew, parents) out there digging until there was a playing surface. And yes, we got all 3 games in.

Make up your mind. Are you talking historically or the current status of the teams? If you want to talk about historically, then Mizzou doesn't have a NC in basketball but it does in baseball. If you're talking current status, yes, the baseball program is a dumpster fire but our basketball team will make the tourney.
As to calling ourselves a basketball school...no...we are a university with a solid basketball program. Better than most, not as good as others.

Who told you that? If it was a Mizzou fan, they were either trolling or delusional. No one walks into Rupp thinking they going to kick the shite out of UK ANY year, whether they're good or not. That's not to say they're not beatable at home, but no one walks in thinking its an automatic win.
