Missouri's AD:

quote:

“It wasn’t a great atmosphere. It was really kind of unhealthy, if you will. We had players spit on, and called the N-word, and things like that. It was not a good environment and unfortunately, I think coach Staley promoted that kind of atmosphere, and it’s unfortunate that she felt she had to do that.”

This guy:

Is accusing this coach:

Of promoting an environment of racism.

There is no video of spitting or n-word usage. There is no evidence of spitting or n-word usage. However, major media outlets are now running a story that questions Dawn Staley and her character.

This guy should be fired.

I mean maybe someone in a position of power should not be calling their players a racial epithet

That is because it is Dawn Staley, a member of the Hall of Fame, the head coach of Team USA, 3 Final Fours as a player, one national championship as a coach, and so on, and so on, and so on.

All I'm saying is that imagine if this happened on the men's side. It'd be a huge story.

Give the man a break, he has 2 sports to hang his hat on right now and one of them is girls b-ball.

He has to draw as much attention away from the guys as he can. I will say it’s intreating to say an African American coach is creating a climate of racism.

The Star Spangled Banner started playing at that point in my mind while reading your post. The big crescendo part at the end. “Oh say does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave.”

That coach has a lot of growing up to do.

She won't ever be confused with the term classy 'cause she has none.

If accusations of racism without proof were a sport, Mizzou would be the conference's version of Bama.

A white man calling a black woman racist? It’s a rather ballsy move to me, be it a good or bad one.

I wouldn't put it past either of them. Staley has developed a reputation as whiny and using any tactics necessary to win.

Whereas Missouri just pulls stuff from their @ss to accuse people of everything basically.

I bet it's a mix. SC is probably a very agressive team which is why they were the ones initiating the fight. I bet Staley whines about the refs after the game again if one of her players is ejected. wheras Mizzou has that reputation of being a really dirty wbb program this year.

I think these two teams were made for each other. I think State is going to have their hands full these next two games against these two.

Who the hell gets so worked up about women’s basketball to the point you’d spit and use slurs?

What fight?

You mean the jump ball that got a little chippy that resulted in 2 Mizzou players being ejected?

The only accurate things in your post.
