Missouri's conference schedule every single year since they joined the league has included Vanderbilt, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee and Arkansas... every single year...
The latter two schools have been complete tire fires for a decade, south Carolina has never been good outside of a brief stint under Spurrier, and the other two are Kentucky and Vandy.. A basketball school and the conference doormat for 80 yrs.
Those schools make up 63% of Mizzou's annual conf slate...and, yet they are still only sixth in the league in winning pct?
That figure is actually more of an indictment of just how dog shite their program actually is... Not something to brag about.
Every week in the SEC is a grind!!!!

OU should worry about the present and not look 3yrs into the future.
Exactly. Worry about taking care of business in the Big 12. They need to realize their big brothers will be here waiting for them patiently to arrive. That being said, not sure why they are so anxious to get that arse spanked on a weekly basis. They seem to have trouble with Iowa State and K-State on an annual basis.

I'm glad you see the hypocrisy. It can't both be "SEC > all" and when Mizzou has success "yea but the SEC sucked so they are garbage".

Shhh. They get upset when you start poking holes in their arguments with logic and reason.

We also beat a Top 25 Ole Miss team.

Then I guess the game doesn't count. We'll go do some revisionist history of our own. Turns out we're undefeated since joining the SEC. Losses were all bullshite.

Yea. All of our loses last year were due to COVID. I mean, it was a COVID year.

You were top 25 most of the year, dropped out, won a few games, entered T25 again the week of the mizzou game.

And what did that have to do with Mizzou penis?

I see a whole lotta' dumbassery and revisionist history from the rantards here, not surprising.

Will never understand why the SEC settled for those mediocre programs. Guess it was no different than settling for South Carolina and Arkansas. At least Arkansas had a few glory years 50 years ago…
We all wonder why the SEC settled for Oklahoma and Texas as well. Texas makes sense. Oklahoma is a state with a million less people than the state of South Carolina and it's in the middle of nowhere. It literally appeals to nobody.

SEC East. It's going to be long seasons for Oklahima and Texas...

They were truly fortunate to be put in the eastern division.
Meh. this is a weak argument. That first SECE champ Mizzou was a final AP top 5 team and the SECE had two top 5 teams that. If you check the history books you'll find the SECE had one of its better seasons that year. The difference was that it was NOT UGA or UF at the top of the standings.

That's how it's always been to be honest. If UGA or Florida isn't good then everyone says the East automatically isn't as good. The 2013 final rankings included two Top 5 teams from the East. The "vaunted" SEC West didn't even have that.

You'd have a point except y'all got smashed both times in Atlanta.

I really would not call 2013 a smashing. Though, whatever fits your narrative.
