All that being said, you can't expect fans of two major World Series contender teams not to be very, very into the season their baseball teams are having. That's just nuts.

Not really, one of the all time favorite UK fans of all time was also an avid Reds fan. Another, who also became a KY governor, was quite immersed in the duality college and professional sports.

The first was Mr. Bill, known UK and Reds fan
The second was Happy, known for UK sports and professional baseball

Who gives a shite if they come or not. Just more UGA fans that will get in the game. I'd rather MiZz send 0 fans and UGA had 100% capacity

Yeah, I wish more fans were going since we're defending our winning streak turf "between the hedges" in Athens.

Fun fact: there are more MLB baseball teams in MO and TX than there are in the other 8 SEC states combined.

And of those, the 2 in MO happen to be some of the current best teams in the NL and AL respectively.

nm... not getting into it..

No doubt Cardinal fans are the best MLB fans ever.

Hard to hate the Cards BUT never liked Tony Larussa.

You may not like him, but you can't argue with his record. The guy knows how to win.

Congrats... This site is still about "SEC" Football. Can't travel & sell 5500 tix? sad..

We can travel very well. What is up with Athens in particular this year I don't know or care. But our showing at Florida last year was very large, so was our showing at Tennessee, and I don't know (or care) what the ticket count was but we looked like a big crowd at South Carolina last year too.

And that's just the far East teams. At Nashville and Oxford, we had huge traveling crowds that shocked the home fans.

And we also win everywhere we go, 9 straight SEC road wins.

Making fun of Mizzou fans for not traveling across the Southeast while Georgia couldn't bring their entire band to Columbia last year

Did not, just said they were in ATL more than Mizzou. Lots of UK alumni in ATL to live and work so not sure why you are trying to redirect?

Again, they call it Catlanta from the UK presence. Mizzou so far has not show a similar blanketing of the town.

You cannot be this big of a dumbass.Had nothing to do with wanting bring your "entire band".

Its up to the home team to allocate space for the visiting band.

Auburn lets UGA bring its entire band over USCe does not.We only get allocation for the traveling band,

Well they're practically in the Rocky Mountains. Can't expect them to travel that far

... and practically on the Canadian border.

But listen y'all - the whole bark bark woof woof woof thing that you get over in Athens ... the vulgarities slung at the women while walking to the stadium ... I mean everyone knows the deal.

Athens/UGA needs to clean their act up if they want visiting fans coming over there and spending money.

Clean your act up mutts. This is the 21st Century.

I don't think that's how it works. The visiting team can allocate the seats given by the home team. For example, all schools will sit their band in the lower level at BDS, except for MSU, which for unknown reasons chooses to sit their band in the upper deck. It's ridiculous but that's their choice.

A 10 hour ride to watch your team have their asses handed to them every year. Sounds fun.

Pretty sure thats exactly how it works. Its not up to the visiting school to make the determination for space.

The UGA/USCe is obviously a valuable ticket and the SC AD made the determination not to allocate the space for the regular UGA band.
