Missouri is just not good enough of a program to keep Baker from LSU.

I’m willing to say this: If bakers wife wasn’t from there, he would not be leaving. And that’s fine. I understand that reason, and am happy mizzou is in a place where it’s hard for coordinators to leave just to leave.

Yes he would.

Anyone with genuine career aspirations simply doesn’t turn down an LSU to stay at a Mizzou. Especially for defensive coordinator.

That’s the cold hard truth. The fact that there are family ties here too is only lagniappe.

Silly little piggy. If Mizzou is sitting at the kid’s table…. I guess that means you are outside at your trough?

Assistants are expendable. Especially a 41 year old with one good season. Kelly just lacks the ability to develop a staff & needs to poach. He’s a dunce.

It certainly looks that way.

I would assume Baker would like to be a head coach one day. Well he just delayed that with this lateral move and a move with no gaurantee of being successful since their defense is absolute dog shite. Another successful year at Mizzou and he could have moved on taking a head coaching job at any number of P5 schools.

Good luck to him working with the POS who let him go two years ago. He's gonna need it.

I am blown away at all of the attention being given to Mizzou by fans that claim we’re irrelevant as well as having the most prized staff in college football history.

Who the frick “develops a staff”?

Giving someone a raise from a lesser job is literally how the coaching world works. Did you “poach” your OC from Fresno St where he held the same position, or did you simply give him a better job?

I forgot what assholes LSU fans are with the steers dominating the board the past few weeks. Thanks for the reminder.
