As Bjork said, fans won’t have to vacate their memories of those games, so this punishment isn’t as severe as the postseason ban.

I agree with this sentiment

Congrats to Ole Miss for giving Bert his first SEC win (2013)

and the next year, Bert beat the #8 ranked Rebels by a count of 30-0.

though now the Rebels have a 1-12 record for 2014.

You’re not biased at all

Lol at thinking a school should get a punishment NO school should ever receive just because they’re in the same state as you or paid more money for a recruit than your school did or beat you bad on the field that one time. But Ole Miss wasn’t found guilty of giving thousands of dollars or other egregious impermissible benefits to recruits anyway according to the NCAA, so the death penalty could never have been on the table.

Ole Miss had to hire Matt Luke. Ole Miss still has Matt Luke as the head coach of its most important source of revenue. If that’s not punishment enough, I’d hate to hear what you’d want the NCAA to do at Bama or Georgia, because, lemme tell ya, it’s just great watching that mongoloid roam the sidelines with a completely clueless Moon Pie expression on his face

It doesn't work that way. Kirby doesn't get a win; just the nightmares from that prison rape.

He's a part of the network. The whole administration is in on it iyam. Any other school, and Bjork was fired long, long ago. Well, Auburn may have kept him too.

I really don't get the point of vacated wins. They don't get to call it a win, but we somehow also don't get to call it a win? Make them forfeit it or just let them keep it.

I am glad they are being punished but shouldn’t the coaches or people actually doing the cheating be punished also?

It’s bullshite when a coach cheats his arse off then goes somewhere else like nothing happened. He should also be penalized.

It’s impossibly dumb, and it’s not like we’ll have to return any revenue generated during that stretch, but hey today is one of the biggest victories in Mississippi State’s long and illustrious football history. Grats to them

Forfeiting leads to retroactive conference champions.

Deep down, we all knew they wouldn't keep the Bama wins.

Ole Miss now 1-8 against A&M all time.

Edit: I originally said 1-10, but that's not correct. Vacated wins aren't forfeits. In the record books, it's like the game were never played.
