Scott Field wins college football's field of the year.

Dat Grass

I'm sure there was some stiff competition in our league alone. A lot of SEC schools have the money and dignity to develop and take pride in premium grass fields for their football teams.

Enjoy your injury-causing rubber field.

Bama should get a little credit for the endzones' pristine look. There was very little traffic in those areas a couple of weeks ago.

You're welcome.

Vaught-Hemingway replaces the rubber with real grass in fall of 2016. Not a moment too soon.

And then, just like the Grove and our campus and our athletics and women, our field will also be superior to Mississippi State.

I was told that when LSU redid their field a few years back that they use the MOO State developed turf. Least you would expect from a cow college is to have superior grass.

I've never understood the term "savage". But... I think this is it.

Similar to Butch's hair, you have to let it grow a little. Can't cut it too short or it turns to crap.

Fireman, you have truly become one of my favorite posters. You personify all that is good about Ole Miss.

Meanwhile we have one of the top experts in the world on lawn care working on our campus, and our field is pure horseshite because we have the Derek Dooley of field maintenance who doesn't follow established protocol and refuses to ask the expert for assistance.

Sounds a lot like your head coach vs non-shitty opponents.
