Thanks. We will. And even if our team gets blown out 42-3, I'm sure LSU will still get everyone rings to commemorate the occasion.

I like it, game in New England patriots stadium. What's embarrassing is Missouri going to Ark state this fall, should have moved that game to St louis.

Mizzou would have loved to, and tried to get ASU to move the game, but it's their home game and they refused. They weren't interested in playing in the Dome, and somewhere along the line they couldn't reach agreement to play at Busch. At least publicly the Cardinals seemed open to the idea, but I wouldn't blame the Cardinals not wanting to potentially tear up the field, particularly that close to playoff time.

Mizzou was in schedule limbo for 2015 after the conference move and had similar problems negotiating for games given that the other party knows they have leverage. I'd say MSU came out pretty good after Tulane cancelled that late.

So, you get to play in what will be a 25% full NFL stadium against a team that you gain nothing by beating in a part of the country that thinks you'll arrive on a fricking 1960s bus with half the windows boarded up. Well done.

I would think that fellow ranters would be ok with MSU playing up there. It will show the SEC to more people, should show that the South is not a bunch of rednecks, and people should see that if a "bottom" tier SEC team just kicked arse what can the "top" tier teams do.

Not to mention the players can say they played in an NFL stadium. Not many can say that.

But y'all are a bunch of rednecks and I'm sure y'all will bring god damn cowbells to Foxboro.

Rationalize it however you want. Far more than any other SEC school, State plays at non-power five schools and that's just flat embarrassing.

What's weird is that the football team plays more non-conference road games than their baseball team does.

Yeah this is not a big deal imo.

State gets two home games/play in an NFL stadium/get exposure in the northeast/state fans get a better reason to visit the northeast.

Plus, its not like we had a lot of options for an additional game when Tulane backed out of this game a couple weeks back. 2016 sounds like a long ways off, but it's not when it comes to football scheduling. There weren't a ton of teams to choose from for a replacement game at this stage.

You think people in Massachusetts have never seen an SEC game? After the last decade, I'm quite sure the entire country is familiar with this conference

How would it show this?

players at good football schools can, considering they'll do it every weekend after they leave college.

This is true. Y'all were given the shaft pretty late in the game by the Greenies.

So the SEC sends the cowbells to dispel this myth.

yea b/c inordinate amount of obese women in the deep South are all that.

there are a shitload of hot women in the Boston area and if you can't find something cool to do in that city you are probably pretty damn dull to hang out with.
