Freshman Jurrangelo Cijntje throws 93 mph from the right side and 89 mph from the left side.

If he blows out one elbow he can pitch with the other arm and not miss any time.

I think that matters who the catcher is

Peyton Manning has said that his high school coach also called it being "amphibious."

If that was a major paper, ugh!
Pretty sure the dude was not aquatic.

Kind of cool. Keeps the lefty/righty matchups in place the whole time he's on the mound.

I knew a kid that was a switch pitcher in high school. But, he couldn't break glass from either side. He was a hell of a switch hitter though and ended up hitting in the 3-4 hole for a D1 team.

Here is a MLB and NCAA rule for thought…
An ambidextrous pitcher is facing a switch hitter. How many times in one at bat can the players switch plate address?
This actually occurred in 2008. The ambidextrous pitcher, Pat Venditte, would take his pitching stance, then the switch hitting batter would call time and switch boxes. Then the pitcher would switch arms, address the plate again, and again the batter would switch boxes.
This occurred nine times in a minor league pro game. Finally the umpire ruled the batter had to pick a box then the pitcher chose which arm. The pitcher then struck the batter out. The entire sequence was played on TV many times because of the unique situation.
LINK
Afterwards, a new rule was made that is still on the rule books. The pitcher must indicate which hand he will pitch with before facing the batter.
See the Pat Venditte rule, wiki link below.

Now you know…the rest of the story.

Lord have mercy. I think the word they are looking for is ambidextrous.

That's nice insurance against Tommy John.

Venditte actually injured his right arm but continued to pitch rest of season lefty. The rule even addresses injury in the course of an at bat.
This is one of the most amazing rules in baseball.
Another is…in MLB - batter hits a ball over the fence in left field, the fence is less than 250 ft from home plate (think temporary fence extending short distance onto field).
What is the call?

There were no gloves in the Congo Jungle, only good for killing lizards and small birds

Thank goodness I thought this was another transgender story.

Good ole Shackleford from NCState said the same thing.
