Well, according to the moron who wrote this article and who you are now choosing to believe, LSU offered Leo $650,000 for his commitment. SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
Did you read that article? It said that those "in Leo's camp" relayed that LSU "offered $650k". Obviously just mom or uncle just throwing out numbers to get more money. No one believes that dumb arse figure

You'd make pussy purchases too if your wife looked like the easy rider version Peter Fonda with melanoma..

And all this time I thought OM was being progressive by hiring a coach married to John Gruden.

McCready was in Covington that day dumbass
The first words of the article:
"I was in Covington, Kentucky, on Sept. 12.
Specifically, I was sitting in the lobby of the Embassy Suites"
dumbass?

Yeah he went through all that trouble but he only used Godfrey’s story from today as his source. Wrote this in 5 minutes after Godfrey dropped his

Ah, yes, heard everything from the lobby when the participants were sworn to secrecy. So, either Neil is lying, his source is lying, or Ole Miss just pissed off the NCAA AGAIN because of their complete and total inability to keep ANYTHING confidential.

The bottom line is that the NCAA has the same level of credibility as the NFL. Neither are capable of an even application of the rules and there is so much ambiguity that that rulings are based on which ever way the political winds blow.

Good luck tomorrow, idiots. You're going to need it.

Did this guy really just link another Ole Miss "fan boy" page. Man you guys both need to move to a bigger state.

According to sources, Lewis told the Committee on Infractions he received a cash payment of $10,000 “from Mississippi State” on the eve of National Signing Day 2016 to sign with the Bulldogs. When pressed by members of the COI to elaborate, sources say that Lewis stated that he received money to attend MSU from Calvin Green, a defensive backs coach for Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, Miss. Green is the father of Farrod Green, Lewis’ friend and Mississippi State teammate, according to sources and documentation.

I read "The Fall of the House of Zeus" this summer, which is about Dickie Scruggs and the federal investigation behind his jury/judicial tampering. It was pretty eye opening seeing the parallels between his operations and how this OM stuff has gone down. I think there's just a group of these guys who just have big fish in a small pond complexes to the max
I’ve had that book on this iPad for years...have yet to read it.

This is the great bomb the message boards have been saying Godfrey was dropping.
This is his big story? Godfrey has been hinting and building this up for how long?
To say a bunch of shite we already knew?
lol
I am not sure what's worse. The ole miss athletic department or ole miss' "journalist"
They all suck so bad.

Im curious to the State fans who know OM media members why they think Godfrey and Neal, two guys who did not grow up OM fans, two guys who do try to make a living convincing people they are not OM homers, why they are the ones breaking this story. Why not the guy who gets the first questions at every OM press conference the last 12 years in Chuck? Why not Ben Garrett who admits he is an OM fans and admits he works at a fan site? Why not Yancy who is so stupid to report rumors as fact because he heard them on twitter? There are guys you know are OM homers. Guys you know are mouthpieces for the university. Guys that the university would be mad if they wrote this type of story before the allegations came out because of how negative leaks are. Why Neal and Godfrey if this is complete bs that the administration is feeding them?

McCready has a $ stake in Ole Miss' recruiting being torpedoed, Godfrey has been carrying water for Ole Miss through the duration of this shite show. Godfrey has directly been behind the "it's only women's basketball/Nutt's staff" and "Lewis is ineligible" defenses.
