Whoever at Ole Miss decided to give the NCAA that text message between a booster and Bernie is the dumbest person on the planet. Ole Miss should've burned both phones that had that message. Also I think Matt Luke got the job because he won't change anything that Freeze did. I expect the same good ole boy network to be around Ole Miss football.

State's recruiting under Mullen averaged from 25-35 ish a year, not exactly like the Freeze classes of '13 and '16 that drew national attention. Further, Mullen's most prominent NFL players from his tenure were 2-3* diamonds like Dak, Bernadrick McKinney, Preston Smith, Gabe Jackson, etc.

o Dan Mullen was meeting with Leo about potential immunity well before the NCAA requested immunity tactic from the COI?

I honestly have no idea. It makes sense that Dan would have talked with him and known what he had done before anyone else, I mean that's really part of his job as coach. Wouldn't be shocked if, upon finding out how involved Leo was, Dan mentioned him trying to get immunity. It's what I would do for my kid if I was the coach.

Collusion no doubt.

This is just a huge stretch. Nothing about the above indicates collusion. Even if the NCAA mentioned immunity to Dan before they offered it.

It sucks they dragged this on for 2 extra years.

Probably wouldn't have had you not continued cheating after the investigation began, the infractions that occurred until at least 2015 are why there were 2 extra years.

I know now no way we getting much more than already self imposed.

Maybe not, I honestly don't care, even though I personally think that's unlikely. But seriously, good for you guys if that's the case. I have enjoyed football thriving in MS, iron sharpens iron.

I read "The Fall of the House of Zeus" this summer, which is about Dickie Scruggs and the federal investigation behind his jury/judicial tampering. It was pretty eye opening seeing the parallels between his operations and how this OM stuff has gone down. I think there's just a group of these guys who just have big fish in a small pond complexes to the max and think they are untouchable.

Well, according to the moron who wrote this article and who you are now choosing to believe, LSU offered Leo $650,000 for his commitment. SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS! if you believe this shill. And he turned that down, took $11,000 from Ole Miss, and went to State for $10k. Sounds reasonable.

But yeah, him turning down $650k for $10k would shock me too. L. O. L.

Godfrey is the embodiment of OM fans and their victim mentality. Own up to it you biatches

Haha when I lived in Mississippi and had to listen to these two schools bickering back and forth like little girls, I saw that the entire state was run this exact same way. Ole Miss is run in similar fashion to the "good ole boy" league that runs the state.

Godfrey has been obsessed for years on how the NCAA operates

Yes .. and how it comes down so hard on ONLY poor ole miss.

Did you read the "The NCAA didn't believe Donte Moncrief's brother could buy a car. So they launched an investigation."

Newsflash .. the NCAA investigates LOTS of players .. besides OM players.

Did you read about poor Robert Nkemdiche and HOW it was his family's fault .. "The decision to jump out the window of an Atlanta hotel room rented in his name was pure fight-or-flight. With police officers entering a room registered in his name, with marijuana on the premises during a party in December, there was no choice." (direct quote .. Godfrey article .. The only thing standing between Robert Nkemdiche and NFL success? His family)

Are we forgetting that he got outed as having a Nafoom account?

That's like me claiming to not be a State fan and getting outed as an avid ED poster.

BTW the most accurate article Godfrey has ever written and used "anonymous sources" was an article about bagmen. pretty effing ironic if you ask me

Freeze was 100% hired for the boosters to be able to run loose

No doubt. They needed a homeboy, not a real HC.

OM was probably paying for his hookers also. You know he pretended they were all the Sandra Bullock version of Leigh Anne Tuhoy whilst he was Tim Mcgraw too..

Not even sure he's worth $100. What did he do for Ms St this year?

And my final word on the subject is this.

After what Ole Miss did to Jackie Sherrill, I hope Dan Mullen and Leo Lewis did orchestrate this. I hope they did make it up. I hope we did pay him. I hope we continue to get off scott-free for it, and I hope yall get absolutely destroyed tomorrow.

I don't believe anything Godfrey says, but in this instance I hope he is (accidentally) 100% correct.

In the words of Les Miles ~ Have a GREAT day!
