Yes you will understand. You will more than likely leave just like he did, with your tail between your legs in defeat.

Of course it goes over his head. He's from Mississippi, where family trees don't branch.

Ole Miss can only start claiming the Coast when they nut-up and play Southern. Fact.
The Grind Nation has full privileges for the next 2 years.

Agreed, but a lot of people are hard to understand and use words that no one outside of Cajun country uses.

Mississippi State Bulldogs Sports Radio Calls Lafayette Trip ‘Worst Experience'

I'd much rather listen to Acadian French-influenced English and Cajun slang terms than the MFing damn cowbells that those people in Starkville keep clanging right behind you if you involuntarily move your head one centimeter off center in response to an unexpected CLANG right behind your head.
And please don't tell me northern Mississippi accents are the heighth of cosmopolitan civility. (Although one of my best friends is an Ole Miss alumnus who lives in North Jacksson - looking forward to going to a game in Oxford).
I didn't much like our trip to Starkville last fall. Even though my cousin's son just graduated from Miss State and is just starting out as an engineer in - you guessed it - Lafayette!
Damn! you so mad you had to make all that shite up just to show us how mad you are.
I see. You were there. Ok. Gotcha.

Well playing USM now is not a big deal. But playing USM in the 80's, 90's, and 00's was a little tougher.
